“Ambiance , service & menu best in Pittsburgh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

Staff knowledgeable and extremely friendly; the menu diverse for both meat & seafood lovers. Reasonable corkage fee made the meal even better.

“Great lunch spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Great location next to the Heinz History Center, with a wonderful menu and a truly interesting, high-ceilinged industrial interior. Lunch included wonderful fresh oysters with unique sauces. Personalized attention from the wait staff, and a great meal.

“Five Star Quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

We enjoyed a remarkable meal in food quality, beverage variety, service and atmosphere. Much of the produce is local farm to table - such a win in freshness & flavor! Alcohol prices are higher than expected however, whether by the bottle or the glass, the variety was good.
Liz(zy), our server was so knowledgable of the ingredients in specific menu selections. She ensured the courses arrived in timely fashion. Of course, she received efficient help from bread servers who offered 3 different, fresh, warm choices throughout the meal as well as other food servers who presented our courses.
The atmosphere was quiet and romantic on the dining side. Music was jazzy at some moments, light folk rock later. Tables were spaced far enough apart that others' conversations were not disturbing. The interior was beautiful and simple. It had been a warehouse in a past life. Wine bottles were stored within a glass encased upper level.
The experience at this restaurant could be reserved to celebrate life's special moments. It is expensive, but ELEVEN's high quality make it a value.

“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

The food is excellent. The restaurant is elegant and very upscale, but it also has a comfortable bar. We dined in a little upstairs alcove overlooking the bar - a perfect setting for a group wanting to keep an eye on the playoff hockey game while also enjoying a lovely dinner with a glass of wine.
