I've come here twice, both for lunch, and both on business. It's conveniently located in Market Square and has been busy both visits. The menu is just long enough that I have a tough time deciding what to eat, and both meals I've had were great. I got enchiladas the first visit, and the las vegas combo most recently. I do not like the smokey flavor in either the beans or the rice, but the main part of the entree has always been good.
The three reasons my rating drops from Very Good to Average, aside from not liking the smokey flavor, chips and salsa are extra. I can understand charging for guac or quesso, but it is unacceptable to charge for chips and salsa at a mexican restaurant. It's also disappointing that when my business guest asks for sour cream and salsa for his entree, the waitress says, that's extra. Since when are these sides/condiments not expected with a Mexican meal? This is another policy I find unacceptable. Thirdly, it takes FOREVER to get your food. My first visit I didn't think too much of it since there was five of us, but for two people ordering off the menu, with no alterations to the entree, for lunch mind you, the almost 30 minute wait is unreasonable. It was closer to an hour my first visit.
As mentioned, if it weren't for those three complaints, I would easily rate this place Very Good. I'll likely eat here again, but only if my business guests are not worried about time.
