We went to LeMont on 8/24/13 to celebrate our 27th anniversary, We haven't been there for years but we had fond memories of past experiences and thought it appropriate place to kick off a celebration. The views were great -as usual. Our server was OK though she tended to be a bit too personal. The bus boy was always tryiing too push us along as if he was desperately trying to turn over the table. For example asking us if you were finished with your salad when the bowl was half full. But the worst part was the food. I had the sea bass and my wife had the grilled salmon. The sea bass was ordered to be grilled - but seemed more like poached - soggy and very bland. The side dishes were a twice-stufffed potato, carrots and asparagus. We ordered separate menu item, yet we both got the exact same sides. I imagine the concurrent wedding downstairs got the exact same sides. The carrots, potato and asparagus seems like they were prepared an hour before we got there. The only thing fresh we were served was the dinner rolls. They were excellent. The asparagus was dried out and bland. The twice stuffed potatoes were bland. The carrots were unnaturally sweet and tasted like frozen ones.
This restaurant needs to hire Gordon Ramsey - to taste (and spit out) their food declaring it as frozen or microwaved. Te food was truly bad and I am being charitable.
