What a wonderful surprize! The hotel is located in the heart of downtown of Pittsburgh..valet parking available as well as metered/lot parking nearby. The lobby is very modern, offering many amenities in a bright open layout..spacious, well appointed, .business center; ample comfortable seating with a large, flat screened tv; beverages and light snacks available free in the lobby; and friendly, knowledgeable staff. In addition, there is a Starbucks satellite shop in the rear of the lobby- which provides the free breakfast - choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, baked goods, granola, fresh fruit, coffee, juices and more all cooked to order and delivered to your table, OR available to go.
Our room had free internet, a very comfortable King sized bed, well lit desk for working, couch and coffee table as well as a view of the courtyard and was extremely clean. Very modern, and up to date...hallways and elevators were also current and well maintaned.
There are many places to dine within a one block radius in every price range...we chose to dine at the adjoining restaurant, which was obviously popular with locals as evidenced by the many patrons...there is an extensive wine inventory with knowledgeable servers and an eclectic menu featuring tasty entress like mango and habernero pepper sauce over crabcakes served with fettucine..yum...
Just a five minute drive from famous Station Square...strip of restaurants/bars on the waterfront.
And finally, easy access to interstate and turnpike...left, left, right...:)
Would highly recommend this hotel..can think of nothing to fault...you won't go wrong here!

Rooms are spacious, reception staff friendly and helpful, valet service great! We were here for a Steelers game and it was an easy walk to the stadium (no more than 1 mile). The Sharp Edge Bistro just down the street is a great stop for a quick meal and great Belgian beer. The Strip district shopping and food are close by. Although we didn't see a show the theater district is within a block or two. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. The only reason I don't give this hotel a 5 is the mattresses are little stiff and hard. I would definitely stay here again.

This Courtyard is a great location for attending events in the theater district and is also in walking distance of many fine restaurants. The hotel offers an up to date decor with rooms that are a comfortable size. The breakfast may be somewhat limited but was quite ample for us. The staff is very friendly and seem to take great pleasure and pride in their jobs. It may not be as plush as the Renaissance or the Fairmont, but it offers a great value in an ideal location.

We came to watch the Steelers play - that turned out to be the only real disappointment of the weekend. Hotel is well located, rooms good and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Why not a five? Mattress was slightly dodgy and breakfast included was a bit spartan. However, overall it was a great stay. Was surprised to see a couple of poor ratings recently....
