“Birds!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

We enjoyed our trip to the Aviary. Some exhibits were closed, but they compensated us with discounted admission. The penguins were the stars of the show, the feeding session was very informative. The aviary is extremely small though, we did expect more.

“Fun with birds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

This is a fun place. The interactive shows are so funny and educational. It was nice to be so close to the birds. My older kids had a great time.

“Nice place if you are interested in birds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Pleasant walk around to see and learn about a brilliant variety of birds. We enjoyed our visit. The layout of the aviary is not sprawling, making it a convenient place for a leisurely stroll with birds flying overhead and all around.

“Kind of small, but awesome. May be boring if you aren't a bird nerd, though!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

The National Aviary is a bit pricey per person for the size, but if you are a bird lover at all, it's definitely worth it! Huge walk through rooms full of free-flying birds, some that will eat out of your hand if you're lucky enough to be there at the right time. But its really all about watching and listening, as there is activity all around if you're just patient enough to look. Only takes about an hour, maybe two if you're really into birds, so not the most bang for your buck. Nonetheless, a great way to kill an hour!

“Enjoyed the trip”

Good place for bird lovers. But felt not much shows or birds for the price paid. Completed the tour in 45 mins
