“Needs better food and nicer staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

You just can't get over the view....it is awesome....this is almost the best park in baseball. The food was awful. Tried several items and most were over cooked and people seemed to care less about the service. Not letting you to your seats until 90 before game time.....you miss all of pirates bp and the first group of the visting team bp. Hopefully it will get better next time

“Probably the best ball park in the US”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

This is a fantastic venue to watch a baseball game!

Our seats provided a great view of the action. The view towards the city is just stunning and makes the whole experience worth the price of admission.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The concourse (2d level) had a great selection of food, beverages, and gift stops. The best deal was the Bucco Burger, a good cheeseburger with all the fixings, including bacon. Came with chips and was priced at just $9.

Park in one of the garages downtown and walk along the river and over the Clemente Bridge for the complete experience. Parking was reasonable ... just $5 for the game.

I definitely am looking forward to next season and going to several games. What a great experience!

“Great park except for parking and ushers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

I really LOVE this ballpark and have been here for multiple baseball games so that is a saving grace in my review but this last experience left a lot to be desired.

First of all, the usher for Section 10 was way too overbearing in how he asked people if they had tickets for the seats. I think his name was "Fran" and he is not a good representation of this great ballpark. My friend was trying to say goodbye to a couple of girls who had met us for the game so they tried to sit down for a second in the next section over from us to say goddbye and not block other people's view. The usher rudely made them all get up right away even though no one was sitting in those seats and all of the people had tickets of equal value in other sections. The next day, our seats were in this usher's section and he was quite rude to me when asking to see my ticket as well.

Secondly, the parking situation for day games is ATROCIOUS!!! The team or the park should do a better job of communicating to out of town visitors that all of the parking lots are pre-sold during the day and are not available to baseball fans. We missed the first 3+ innings of the Wednesday game because we were stuck in traffic and trying to find a place to park!

“Clean ballpark with great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Watched two games there this past weekend and had great time. Pirate fans were surprisingly friendly to a bunch of us visiting reds fans. I wish great American ballpark had the scenic city views pnc has in the outfield. My one complaint is the uptight ushers who wouldn't really let you move around even to open seats in the late innings. Can't really comment on the food because there was plenty of places to eat in walking distance of the park, but I did see a smallish bucket of chicken wings for 33 bucks which I thought was crazy.

“Fantastic ballpark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

The open air park, seating views and loyal fans make this park a can't miss for baseball fans. Plenty of food options including bbq located right behind the outfield seating.
