“New Favorite Place to Stay in Pittsburgh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We fell in love with this hotel as soon as we walked through the door! This hotel is gorgeous with a stunning lobby, we loved the architecture. The staff was super friendly and helpful in pointing out good places to eat and things to do.

Rooms were flat out luxury! Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in for a very long time. Flat screen televisions, thick comforters, fluffy pillows made staying in the room as fun as a night out!

Great place to stay if you are going to a Pirates game because it is literally across the bridge within easy walking distance.

Will definitely be going back to this romantic hotel

The service was great from the moment that we pulled up to the curb. We splurged on a corner room with a river view and it was well worth it. Walking distance to theaters and restaurants. Room service for breakfast was fantastic.

Classic look with modern feel. Spent two nights here with a friend. Walking distance to PNC Park. Very clean, nice bar, great room service! Get a room with a river view during the summer weekends and enjoy the fireworks after the Pirates game from your room. Perfect place for grown up get-away weekend.

Room Tip: Get a room away from elevator, it can get a little loud during busy weekends.

This is our favorite place to stay in Pittsburgh when we want a weekend getaway. We love the lobby and decor. The only thing I would fault them on is that they should keep the bar open longer on weekend evenings. The location is perfect for restaurants, theaters, & bars in downtown Pittsburgh.

Beautiful hotel with an attentive staff, spacious rooms and solid restaurant and bar. The only thing that was missing was a small concessions area to purchase a breakfast bar or coffee for those on the go.

I would stay here again in a heart beat.

The rooms are comfortable, my only complaint would be noise from the street in the middle of the night with the noise of trucks backing up. The big advantage of the hotel is location. We attended a concert at the Heinz Hall which was almost adjacent.

Not only is the lobby and grand hall breathtaking with all the marble, intricate carving, and a grand staircase out of a palace, the experience is wonderful and you will be treated like royalty, no matter your status. This is reflective of the care and professionalism of a grand hotel as in days of yore, with everyone making each detail count. We love to stay here and make a night on the town if going to a show, a hockey game, or to celebrate life events such as birthdays, New Year's, special occasions and to bring a little romance back into our busy lives. The rooms are spacious, crisp style, high ceilings, and corner room suites that are outstanding! It is an easy walk to downtown events, with most of the theatres a block or two away. You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: the corner suites that overlook the river are very lovely and nice views! the river sparkles at nigh...
