“Absolutely Breathtaking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

We were able to go just before Christmas time. From December until January they offer a viewing of the gardens by tealight. It is surreal! You are lost in a quiet, still garden of orchids, poinsettias, tropical flowers and greenery. The outside is full of lights that just have to be seen to fully appreciate their beauty. It was truly a magical moment! We went as a family and it was very accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. My 9 month old niece loved it! What a great visit for a date, a family, couples and groups! We hope we can come back and see it several more times in the years to come! It will be a trip to get there, but it will be well worth it!

“Gets better all of the time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

We visited for the Christmas flower show and as always we were not disappointed. They displayed wreaths made by the employees which used a wide variety of items not just evergreens. My favorite was made of pine cones and feathers. We could spend all day in the orchid room! The minature village and train set was wonderful, make sure you spend time looking at all of the little details.

“Wonderful at Christmas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We recently visited Phipps twice in the same day-- went in the afternoon & saw everything in the daylight. Left & got dinner, then returned to see everything at night. The candles & the lighting was fantastic! Walked through the outside garden of lights & they were beautiful in the snow. You only have to pay once-- just save your receipt for the return visit.

“Every visit is worthwhile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We went for the Christmas lights in the outside gardens and loved the massive variety of poinsettias scattered throughout the conservatory. I never knew there are so many colors to the leaves!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The train display captivated all the kids (and me) with it's many vignettes.

If you're in Pittsburgh, don't miss seeing the Phipps. It's worth the price of admission. Can't wait to see the new addition!
