“Wonderful decor, bland tasteless entree and sides, but great drinks”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

Use salt, garlic and I would give you 4 stars.

The blueberry tart was awful. Tastes like dried , frost bitten berries...

Nice quiet dining experience though,

Cute inside, great service. Soups, entree and sides were unsalted , yuk

“Surprisingly Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

We arrived with such expectations and hopes. The four of us started with appetizers. The French onion soup was sooooo good. My buckwheat crepes were a little too thick and flavorless; husband liked his salad; the escargot looked like a heaping tablespoon of dried parsey was dumped on them, and the foie gras was a pate and not a nice slice of goose liver. Oh well, on to the main course. I got the lamb shank and fries. It was cooked properly, but again, surprisingly tasteless. They had a special of veal liver. It was way overdone. Hubby said the beef bourguignon was also lacking in taste. On a good note, the service was exceptional, and the wine selection was excellent at a reasonable value. Would we go back? We voted no; we would go to Spoon which is close by. We wondered why the restaurant was not full on a Saturday.
We will continue to look for a replacement for our favorite French restaurant that closed several years ago - Chez Gerard, we still miss you.

“Brunch- c'est magnifique! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

We came here on a Sunday afternoon on the spur of the moment. It was pretty full but they seated us right away! We had the brunch and it was delicious. Croissant, pain au chocolat, a wonderful crepe, and eggs Provençal. My husband had the quiche with salmon and spinach . We topped it off with a mimosa. The coffee is local and delicious as well. Cozy spot, our waiter was French and so pleasant. We had lunch here one other time which was excellent as well. There were families with kids too so it's for everyone ! Friendly and lively atmosphere. I will be back again! I lived in France for a year and really enjoyed the experience at Paris 66. Merci beaucoup!

“French food in the Burg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

From the wine to the apps to the main course to the desserts this place was incredible. Super friendly staff to say the least with many of them from France and speaking flawless french.
Cool little place with big flavors. Valet parking for only a few bucks. Get some macaroons to go and have them later and go back for the Sunday brunch if you have the time.

“Great French bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

Very friendly staff & welcoming cozy space. Everything we have tried has been of high quality and tasty. My significant other lives nearby so when I'm in town Paris 66 is a lunch/dinner spot.
