I have stayed in this hotel, before, and every time I visit, I am never disappointed. The hotel is ultra modern. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and the bathroom is a sight to behold. The shower products are top notch. The gym/spa are first rate and the lounge in the lobby offers the best drinks with innovative snacks. Location is perfect and the views are spectacular. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful and the beds were heavenly. Best sleep I've had in ages. A little bit pricey; but, I would not consider staying anywhere else in Pittsburgh!

Like most Fairmont's, the hotel is a comfortable, well run hotel. The staff, even by Fairmont standards, is friendly and competent. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms have separate showers and baths and river view rooms have a nice view. I strongly recommend the bar and lobby for jazz evenings. Some truly fine jazz is being played there.

The hotel is nicely located, just a block or so from the shops and restaurants on Market Square and is in the midst of the business center of downtown. The hotel doesn't have a pool or whirlpool bath but the exercise room is well equipped and the health club is superb with a great steam room and sauna..

The only trick to the Pittsburgh Fairmont is finding it if you are driving. The hotel is not well signed and the streets around the hotel are pretty confusing for an outsider. My advice, if you are driving up Sixth Street, look to your left as soon as you cross Liberty--that's the Fairmont. If you get to Market square, you've gone too far.

We have stayed at many fairmont hotels in Canada and the US and this is by far one of the nicest we have stayed at. Our first surprise was how modern and fresh the hotel was. When we walked in the foyer there were many people sitting in the lounge listening to the live band which played on weekends. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and had both a separate bathtub and shower. We had breakfast in the restaurant and found the prices were very reasonable and they even had gluten free on the menu. The hotel is centrally located and we walked everywhere. Excellent. Will be back.

Stayed here for a night for business and was really impressed with this hotel. Loved the lobby ambiance and was psyched when I got up to the room. Awesome floor to ceiling windows with great views of market square. Hotel is in a great location. Had fun listening to music after dinner at the hotel bar.
