The new Pancake House located in the South Hills is not a place to go for a relaxing breakfast.
Our meals came out in bits and pieces and by the time the whole meal got to us what we had was cold. Examples: no syrup for pancakes, no english muffin with eggs, when english muffin came it was untoasted. No refills on coffee for 10 min after cups were empty.
We were then charged wrong for the eggs, we brought it to the attention of the cashier and she said she is just the cashier and doesnt know pricing. A manager was called and asked what type of problems that we were having with service, this must have been overheard by someone who was in charge in a chef jacket who came over, opened the cash register gave us a $1.25 back and said does it look like we have any problems by how busy were are. He stated that it would be this busy for a long time. (It wont stay busy with the type of attitude they have)
I am in the food service industry, I was trained as a chef, its a shame that someone as unprofessional as that would have a chef coat on.
I would say for a nice relaxing breakfast go anywhere but the Pancake House in the South Hills.
