“Average hotel at a reasonable price.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights (Saturday - Wednesday) on a family trip to Philadelphia. It's a good location, close to Valley Forge and King of Prussia, and a short drive away from the Philadelphia attractions (about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic). Plus, there is a close gas station, easy interstate access, and a few restaurants close by.

We stayed here because it was about $50 a night cheaper than the Hampton Inn at King of Prussia. Overall, it was a decent hotel. It was a little bit run down, but nothing was in serious need of repair. The room was a little on the small side (twin beds, not queen) and not a lot of storage. I was surprised the room did not contain a mini fridge - I can't remember the last time I stayed at a hotel where his was not standard. It was, however, updated with fresh paint and a flat screen TV.

Our biggest issue was housekeeping. The room was not cleaned the first day, and we finally stopped the housekeeper in the hall and asked for fresh towels about 5:30PM. She brought a few in and did a quick clean of the bathroom. On the other days, the room was cleaned but not until near dinner time. One day, we even stopped by to inquire about it and were told they did not have a schedule and they would get to it when they could.

Breakfast was the normal Hampton fare, nothing special, but it was always stocked. We used the pool as well, and no issues there.

We would stay there again based on the price, but if large rooms or timely housekeeping is important to you, you might look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Stay away from the elevator!

Stayed in one of two of the hotel suites. I sure felt right at home. The suite was very large had a full kitchen and the bedroom had a door so I could go to bed while my husband stayed up and watched tv in the living room area. Pleasant staff and comfortable bed made this stay memorable. we will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel also offers a lite dinner Monday thru Thursday and full breakfast everyday. Also has an outdoor seating area with a gas fire so you can relax or discuss business. Parking was a little crowded, but they share a parking lot with Bob Evans so there was room. The pool was closed and I'm not sure they will be opening it at all, but a notice was on the website before we booked so we were aware.

Room Tip: Go for the suite! You won't be disappointed!

I had just driven 15 hours and I realized I accidentally reserved a room at this hotel, due to the cash plus rewards program, but meant to reserve one closer to the mall. I decided to stay due to cost and the front desk staff made my stay worth the 5 minute drive to and from the family reunion location.

We initially chose this hotel due to being an option for room block for a wedding. This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff, the free breakfast, the room...WONDERFUL.
We had booked a Jr Suite and it was exceptionally comfortable and well appointed.
We needed an early check in and were easily accommodated.
Only complaint is that communication between the front desk and cleaning staff needs tweeting. Twice during our brief stay there came a knock at the door asking when we were checking out, once right after we checked in, and also early in the morning of our check out date. We are chalking that up to being over zealous to have accommodations above par.
Definitely would stay here again and have recommended this hotel to others.

Room Tip: We were a distance from the elevator...not sure if they are noisy. We had no problem with noise. If...

We found this hotel to be perfectly located for us as we traveled to/from it the entire weekend as we were in town to visit our son. It was very clean and the staff were professional. The only issue we had was with the a/c unit being so noisy we could barely hear each other in conversation. We didn't bother complaining. Otherwise, an exceptional choice!

We got a Suite room for my family of 5 and were very pleasantly surprised at how clean/modern the hotel, especially when considering that the rate was only $150/night. The breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, cereals, toast/bagels, fruit, yoghurt, etc.), and the room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The pool was a bit small and could have been warmer, but was nice for my kids to splash around in. We were very happy to have stayed here and I would recommend it to other family travellers. For mall-goers, the large King of Prussia mall is close by.

Hotel is older and in need of a face-lift and a good cleaning! Staff seemed overwhelmed and not able to accommodate requests. It took 4 hours to get a refrigerator delivered to the room. (Was surprised there wasn't one in there already). Manager was not on duty. Walls weren't soundproofed ~ could clearly hear what was going on next door.
