“everything you could want for the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2008

My husband and I have stayed here twice and for the money you can't beat this hotel. The rooms are quite spacious. Our king bed room had a seperate sitting area with a sofa and 2 easychairs as well as a vanity area next to the bath. Cube size refrigerators are included in every room as well as a microwave, coffeepot and FREE hi speed wireless internet. I have stayed at hotels 3 times the price without this much room! The lobby has a free computer that is hooked up to a printer which is great for getting directions off the web or printing internet coupons and the like.
The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool! The indoor one even has a nice jacuzzi-Great for relaxing after a long day at Hershey Park.
They include a free breakfast which is usually crowded but you can easily bring the food back to your room and eat in the sitting area on the coffee table. The buffet (which ends at 10am)is well stocked with fresh fruit, yougurt, cereal, waffel iron and microwave breakfast sandwiches. The also provide fresh coffee 24/7 so i never had to use the mini pot in the room.
There is a very nice historic resteraunt (the Paul Revere Tavern) right on site but it is not attached to the hotel. The food was great and eating in a place onced owned by President James Buchanan and family was a real treat.
There are plenty of other resteraunts, very close by including the all you can eat PA Dutch stlye buffets. Millers is right down the road and has a beuatiful quilt shop righ on site.
There is so much to do in the area you can't take it in all in one trip. Especially if you love quilts like me and trains like my husband. This hotel is right in the middle of everything and you just can't beat it for the price!

My family and I love this hotel. The people were very kind. The housekeepers kept up with the cleaning around the clock. The pools were nice. We would recommend this place to every age.

My wife and I stayed here for a night this weekend.

It is a great hotel which I heartily recommend.

Positives:
The cost was resonable
The location was convienient
The check in was fast
The room had a refrigerator, (which worked very well) and a coffee maker
It had a continental breakfast included in the price. They even had breakfast buritios available. They also let people take the breakfast back to your room.
The checkout was fast.

Negatives:

None

Tip: When you make your reservation, stay in the main building, not the annex.

My husband and I have stayed many times at this facility, but always in the summer in the annex building because we enjoy the outdoor pool area. Since it was cold weather, we opted to stay in the main building. The room was very clean and comfortable as are the rooms in the annex building. This hotel is centrally located for sightseeing and shopping. Their breakfast is excellent. Indoor pool and hot tub were also clean.I recommended it to everyone!

We stayed at the Revere Inn for four days this April. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The check in was fast and easy, the desk staff were very nice and helpful with area attractions. The room was not huge but there was plenty of room to move about. One thing about the room and bath, it was spotless, probably the cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Hats off to the housekeeping staff!

The first evening there we were tired so we decided to eat at the on site restaurant, they also included discount vouchers with the room. The restaurant is located in front of the hotel across the parking lot in the historic old inn building. The dinner was excellent, we had the Maryland Rockfish with apricot glaze and the Crab Stuffed Salmon, both prepared perfectly.

We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place in the Lancaster area. It is right in the middle of Dutch country, and close enough to York, Gettysburg or Hershey for attractions.

This is the third stay for our family and our kids are always sad when we leave. It's just a nice clean place which is quiet so that our kids can fall asleep by 9PM. The pool is always fun for them and the continental breakfast with yogurt, bagels, doughnuts, cereal, egg & ham croissants, and egg & sausage burritos has everything a family could need. We get going for the day and our kids are "happy".

The staff is ALWAYS very helpful - from the maintenance services to the front desk personnel. We were even able to avoid a trip to Strausburg Railroad to purchase tickets and instead buy them online from the lobby PC and then print to the printer behnd the front desk. It's that type of convenience that a young family needs! (and our kids were on the train this AM when other families sadly found out that the ride was sold out because of the beautiful weather. Oh my heart ached for those kids and their parents!)

This hotel will always be our 1st choice when visiting Lancaster.

  • Liked — Pool for the kids.
  • Disliked — Nothing that I can think of.
