What can I say bad about Frogtown Arces except that all good things have to end. This was our third stay at Frogtown and one of the best. Can't wait to return in December. Hopefully there will be snow for the New Year.

Joe and Gloria are the ideal host and hostess. Joe will keep you laughing from the moment you enter his home. My connection with Gloria, as a fellow teacher, was great. Joe will remember every detail that you have shared with him. How he does this is beyond me. He will make you feel that you are his closest friend when you walk through his door.

The breakfasts that they cook are terrific. So much food and such a variety. Despite any diet, you will want seconds. The fresh fruits and vegetables provided by the Amish neighbors are delicious. The pumpkin pancakes are to die for.

I hope that you get to meet the Amish neighbors. Aaron is a quiet man, whom will answer any question you have. David will keep you laughing at his stories of adventure. Be sure to ask him about his trip to town with Joe in the buckboard. On our next stay we plan to inquire about having dinner with an Amish family.

The rooms are more than comfortable. They are cozy, well decorated. The Amish decor is beautiful. There are frogs everywhere! The grounds are gorgeous. The gazebo is great for a game of scrabble, a glass of wine, a shared intimate dinner or a great place to finish several chapters of your book. The best thing is that the rooms have no televisions. I actually share quality time with my husband.

The friends we have made around the breakfast table, the great laughs, the welcome hugs, the stories we have shared, the other cultures we have been introduced to and the step back in time make Frogtown a place to return to year after year. Our favorite room is the balcony room, but they are all spacious and cozy rooms.

Thank you Joe and Gloria for a wonderful time.

This was our first time at Frogtown Acres and we are glad that we gave it a try. We stayed in the Alcove room and it was just so roomy and decorated so nice
Joe and Gloria are the nicest people you would ever want to meet. They make you feel right at home. Joe sat us down and told us all the great places to check out while we were there. That was extremely helpful. We went to all the places he marked down for us and we just had a great time.
The breakfast in the morning was just yummy and plenty of choices. Their Amish neighbor David came over and both he and Joe just cracked us up with all their funny stories. We were entertained and very full when we left.. We definately will come back next year for sure. Joe and Gloria are the best--Thanks for everything and see you next year !!!!!!!!!!!

Just returned from our trip to Frogtown Acres and thought it was time to write a review for all of you who have yet to go there. Make sure you get there before you croak (tee hee). It's one of the most delightful places you'll choose to stay. It's love at first sight. From the moment you pull into the beautifully landscaped yard, as you take up residence in the quaint, cozily decorated rooms, or meander up to the enclosed porch overlooking the Amish farms to partake of the more than wonderful breakfast, lovingly prepared by Joe & Gloria, you will be sure that you just stepped into a little corner of Heaven. Peace just wraps it's arms around you and you feel as though you've come home. My husband calls the road that runs past the Inn, "Therapy Road" because he says all of his worries and cares fall by the side of the road as he walks it each morning and evening. The Amish folks wave and smile and set down their plows to chat for a minute and the Amish children smile as they head to school, swinging their little lunch boxesand wearing their adorable bonnets or little straw hats. Some Amish neighbors even stop by the Inn to have a cup of coffee with the guests. At breakfast, we have a great deal of fun as well as incredible food. Joe has a wonderful way of including all of his guests in conversation. He is very funny and has us laughing throughout the feast. What a great way to start the day, happy and relaxed. Joe is not only funny, he's also very knowledgable and can answer all of your questionsabout the Amish or recommend places to go and things to see, from quilt shops to farmers markets, from horse auctions to museums, from tours of farms to stage productions. He can suggest restaurants or make arrangements for dinner in an Amish home. Gloria is our kitchen "angel" who quietly prepares our breakfast and her smile and hugs send us on our way, filled to overflowing. We have met people from all over the world at Frogtown. Who knows, maybe we'll meet you there some day. You'll love it! The beds are clean and comfortable, the water is nice and hot for showering and the towels smell sooo good! The swing under the apple tree is so inviting with a babbling creek running behind it. And ,of course, the frog population is amazing!

Almost ten years ago we started going to Frogtown Acres and have never had a more relaxing wonderful vacation. Joe and Gloria have become our best friends. We love the warm beautiful rooms that have been decorated with love. Just like the breakfast they put on for you every morning. Gloria has made us many different treats when we have stayed there and is a very friendly and interesting person. We love her dearly. What can I tell you about Joe well he knows everything you would every want to know about the Amish and has many wonderful stories that make everyone laugh. And when we go there (at least once a year) we have also become some of his stories and have had a wonderful laugh over the things we have done with them. We have been blessed every time we are with them and miss them a lot when we are not. We can't wait to spend time at Frogtown Acres and with Joe and Gloria. It's like going home every time we go there.

Frogtown is the best of the best. We had our 1st stay about 5 years and would never stay anyplace after that. It is the perfect quiet getaway.

Breakfast is the best. The Inn is always clean. The Innkeepers are funny, kind, thoughtful, nice and it is like being with your own family. Breakfast is always a different menu, different dishes and it is great to get to chat with everyone at the table. Joe keeps the conversation rolling and always has a joke or story that will make you laugh. Gloria is always smiling and makes you feel more then welcome. Sometime the Amish neighbors come over and talk with the guest. You can take a walk to a covered bridge around the corner, sit around the outside of the Inn and enjoy the tranquility, farm land, watch the buggies go by and just relax. Our kids love to go and they really enjoy playing games or doing one of many puzzles in the game room. I wish I could go once a month for a relaxing getaway. Thank You Joe and Gloria you are truly a gift from heaven.

This was our first experience at a B&B. My in-laws have been going to Frogtown Acres for 11 years and have wanted us to join them some time. Are we glad that we did! What a wonderful time we had. The Innkeepers, Joe and Gloria, are fantastic people. We left feeling as if we had been friends a lot longer than just a few days. The breakfasts each morning were different dishes - each delicious!!!! Joe's humor and personality encouraged conversation among all guests. Lots of laughts! The alcove room was quaint and comfortable. Seeing the horse and buggies ride by our window made this a unique B&B. We are already planning another visit to Frogtown Acres.

We travel to many B&Bs and there is one that stands alone above the rest. It is Frogtown Acres in Paradise, PA. This delightful B&B as that magical blend of all aspects to make it the perfect place for rest, relaxation and lots of fun. It is nestled amongst Amish farms in a tranquil setting, full of beautiful flowers. The inn has the perfect decor for the area, and is comfortable, clean and charming. The innkeepers, Joe and Gloria are wonderful people who make you feel like family from your first visit. Breakfast is a delicious country spread, served at a wonderful huge table overlooking the farmlands. As you feast on the breakfast, the Amish buggies pass by. If you want to feel warm, love, relaxed, happy and have a delightful time, then run, don't walk to Frogtown Acres!
