My wife and I went last evening for a friend's birthday, and to be honest, I had zero expectations. An inn in Oley, with a martini bar that served food...hmmmm?? How surprised we were! We ate in the restaurant area of the martini bar. Overall, the food was excellent! My filet was a quality cut that was cooked perfectly, and my wife's crab cakes were seriously some of the best we have ever had (Maryland included!) - no to little filling, huge pieces of crab...excellent! The sides were excellent as well (lima beans, baked potato, salads, etc.) The martinis are all made with care and creativity with fresh ingredients. Ohhh, and the peanut butter dessert (can't remember what it was called) tastes exactly like a peanut butter Tasty Cake - loved it! After dinner, we transitioned into the martini bar lounge area, where there was a small band playing. Music was great, ambiance was chill and relaxed, service across the board was very attentive and accommodating. Net net, having gone in very skeptical, I left wanting to go back (and we drove 50 miles to get there!). The only recommendation I have is to get rid of the paper napkins and plastic table cloths - the food and drinks served more than warrant it! Thanks for a great night!
