Found the Trillium Lodge online while searching for a place near Falling Water. Since our tour of Falling Water was early in the morning, I didn't want to drive far to get there on time. The lodge turned out to be a wonderful place to stay, although the experienced was enhanced by the social atmosphere on the night we stayed there. Unless you rent the entire lodge, the common areas are shared with others staying in various rooms. We ended up sharing with a group of diplomats who were super friendly and put out quite a spread. But back to the accommodations. Our room was very clean, as was the shared bath in the lower level. The kitchen is well equipped. The property is beautiful, with a place for an outdoor fire, which would have been perfect for the time of year. If you are looking for a peaceful setting, this is it. The place could be difficult to find in the dark and there's only one place nearby to get groceries and alcohol. So if you are looking for a place in the wilderness, this is as close to it as you can get (for us city folk, anyway).
