“Good Italian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

We've been there for a lunch or two and it had fine salads and soups. The bread and the olive oil plate seems to be our main draw. Last night, we returned for a weeknight dinner for something different. The food was great. Be sure to ask the prices on their specials they tell you at the table. Expecting a $35-40 check, we received one for $62 because one of the specials was $35. Though it was a fish dish and was very good, knowing the price would have made it even more palatable. Service - great and attentive. Kitchen - a bit slow.

“Great Sauce!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Have been doing take out here for years. Their sauce is delicious! They make a thin crust Brooklyn pie which is excellent. Their prices are reasonable and service is good. The menu offers a large selection for most tastes, all done well. The food is freshly prepared--you can taste the difference. It is BYOB. Consistently one of the best Italian restaurants in Bucks County. I have also used them to cater private parties, with rave reviews:)

“Good...but not great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I like this restaurant, my preference would be to rate it as 'good' rather than 'average' or 'very good' - trip advisor should address that glaring flaw in the rating system.

But I digress....here's the PRO's - I really like the wait staff - friendly, not even remotely pushy and rather knowledgeable about what they have to offer. The owner or manager is such a friendly guy, and they have a couple of spots in the restaurant that are actually a little secluded and romantic. The guy who comes in and sings/plays guitar on weekends is really good - not overly loud, so you can still enjoy yourselves and have a conversation with good music playing in the background. It's a BYOB, so that cuts down on overall cost.

CON's - Its in a stripmall, and the place itself is rather small. Some areas in the restaurant you might feel like you are a little close to the other tables, which is something I've never been a fan of. I think the food is good, but I wouldn't call it a 5 star. The food is a bit on the pricey side as well.

Its a fun little place on a Friday or Saturday night. As with everything it has its pros and cons, but I would still give it a positive review. It's worth giving a go.

“Not very good”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

Unfortunately the poor service ruined the experience..... the food was not 'bad' but not worth the pricey menu.. the seafood was ok but definitely not worth a return trip.... too many other better places to go to........ maybe they should stick to just pizzas??

“Used to be the best in Newtown”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

This restaurant used to be the best in Newtown, not so any more. The owner is really spreading himself too thin as he has two other places and is not present as he used to be. The wait staff really need server and customer service training. Food is just ok. Their boorklyn pie is very good. What this restaurant needs is someone to pay attention to it instead of just being 'maintained.'
