I could sit here all day and type about how great Cordials B&B is!! Best B&B ever!!! Bob and Ciro are truly the best hosts. The Best of the Best!!! Loving, warm, kind, generous while offering outstanding service with only their guests in mind!!! They have a great sense of style and taste, providing a selection of color in each room that would appeal to everyone individually. They are the cleanest B&B we have ever visited and we were amazed at how much pride they take in pleasing their guests!! What more can I say. Who gives you homemade banana bread to take home to your family? They do. Love them and we will be back during the summer months to enjoy being a guest again. Thank you Bob and Ciro

We went to our first B & B and we did go to Cordials. I was a little scared since I read the reviews but overall we had a great time. Let's talk about the Pros and Cons:

Pros:
Ciro and Bob were very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat.
Baked goods was great especially the cookies.
Rooms were very clean.
Location was excellent.
5 minute drive from downtown New Hope
7 MInutes from Lambertville
10 minutes from Rice's market
15 minutes from Peddler's Village
Spa, wawa, mcdonalds were close by
Complimentary stocked refrigerator with water, soda, juice and yogurt.
Nice backyard/deck/hot tub but we were not able to enjoy it because it rained all weekend.

Cons:
Small TV in room 6.
Shower needed to be updated.
B&B was old and could of used some updating.
We did not receive our complimentary wine as stated on the website.

We originally booked room 5 which was great BUT it was very close to the front door and it was near the breakfast area. Since we were the first ones there, we asked Ciro if we could change rooms. Without any hesitation, he offered us Room 6 because it was not booked yet. Room 6 was nice but smaller then room 5. We didn't mind, the room was very clean and cozy.
Throughout our whole stay, Ciro and Bob recommended places to see, restaurants to try and always gave us the best directions. We ate at a cajun restaurant Marsha Browning- (hope I spelled that correctly) It is a nice restaurant in a church which is located in downtown New Hope. We thought it was nice place but it was not worth the expensive price they were charging. We recommend Havana's which is about 3 blocks away from Marsha Browning if you are interested in seeing the nightlife. It was a nice bar/restaurant with a live band. We highly recommend the chinese/japanese restaurant in Logan square. IT is 5 minutes from Cordials.

We would definitely stay at Cordials again. Thanks Ciro and Bob.

It's rare to find a B&B with two such wonderful hosts -- they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. And the food! One of the owners is a master baker -- we were greeted at arrival with freshly made chocolate chip cookies -- and spent each morning devouring the fresh homemade quiche (about the best quiche we'd ever had), home made banana bread and muffins (excellent!), homemade chocolate cake --etc. etc. Breakfast also included yogurt, fresh coffee, fresh fruit, and everything else you could want. We tended to eat so much we usually skipped lunch and instead splurged on dinner. (Our hosts even gave us leftover quiche for our ride home as well --everything is literally baked fresh everyday.) Location is an easy several minute drive into the main part of the town of New Hope; the room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, nights were quiet. You truly felt as if you were staying at a friend's house -- but the hosts were sensitive to our desire for privacy as well. Very friendly, informative, interesting people.- A very, very pleasant stay.

We selected this location based on a combination of reviews and overall ranking, and unfortunately they create an overly positive reflection of this location.

The two positive points were the owners, who were friendly and welcoming, and the bed, which was comfortable.

The B&B is located in a high density residential neighborhood and adjacent to a noisy major intersection for the area, with a gas station mini market, 7-11 and a small shopping center. It is Not within a reasonable or safe walking distance of New Hope. In order to walk you have to walk along the shoulder of a major thoroughfare and would take approx 30 min.

There are certain characteristics and features we look for in a B&B. We look for a warmth and character brought through the style of house, the wall coverings, decorations, furniture, etc., not to mention a sumptuous breakfast. Unfortunately we didn’t find any of this here. The house is from the late 1960's or early 70's. Although we didn't see all the bedrooms, our small bedroom and all the common areas were painted stark white. The ceilings, walls and wood trim were all painted in the same bright flat white paint. The furniture was an eclectic mix of modern or 70’s style made of glass and plastic laminates. The sparse decorations were again out of the 70’s or modern. Then there was breakfast, which consisted of store bought Entenmanns’s strudel, coffee cake, some fruit, cereal and Giant supermarket chain donuts.

I would not say you should not stay here, but I would say it should be a last choice. The Fox and Hound was close by and suffers from some of the same location issues as Cordials, but had a lot of open private property. The Wedgwood was right on the edge of town and is a period home, and there are numerous B&B’s located right in town. We also stayed at the Lambertville Inn, which is not a B&B, but is wonderful.

We stayed at Cordials this past weekend and had a fantastic stay. The owners are more than accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. They are warm, friendly and knowledgable of the surrounding areas. In fact, Cordials is in a very prime location. The property is located directly between New Hope and Peddler's Village. It is also close to retail and convenience stores. The rooms are clean, the breakfasts are great and you feel like you are home.
