Recently, we had the very positive experience of staying two nights at the Lexington House B&B. There is no doubt that we would give this B&B our highest rating. There are many reasons: First, and foremost, both of the owners are very cordial and great hosts. Their attention to detail is impeccable and the house is furnished for their guests' comfort and enjoyment. The house's antiques and collections are most attractive. Although both owners seem to have a hand in the operation, Mike spent more time with us making one breakfast and telling us about the house and the area. Ed, who works outside of the B&B business, but also is involved, made breakfast for us the second day. Secondly, the breakfasts were healthy, tasty, and unique - the first morning pumpkin pancakes were featured. We could also have had bagels, fruit, and cereal. The pancakes were delicious. The second day we had an artichoke and cheese omelet. Another morning delight! Both days fresh breads/muffins were available. The owners were knowledgeable with the area's sights and restaurants and made good recommendations. Although it was too early to use, there is a beautiful pool available. There are peaceful outdoor places to sit and enjoy the landscaping (flowers, bushes, etc.). We would definitely go back to this B&B when in the New Hope area.

We visited Lexington House 4 yrs ago on our wedding anniversary...I booked from the internet we had no idea what to expect.....well we were so pleased......Mike and Ed are the nicest
people.....we were treated like family, made to feel right at home....The inn is cozy and the food for breakfast is to die for....we returned for our 19 Wedding Anniv...this Month...and although we have not been fortuante enough to return til now, they made us fell like long lost relatives....I would reccomend this inn to everyone...I only hope that I can still get a room when we want to stay....for If I could I would stay more often.....

My husband and I traveled to many B & B's and The Lexington House was awesome. Great service, wonderful chef, stocked refreshments, clean rooms, beautiful landscape, two pools to cool down in and special touches all over.. They give you typed directions to your local destination, lavendar farms a skip away, many day trips near by to keep you busy. Mike & Ed's special touches made my birthday perfect. (and I'm not so easy to please - ask my husband - LOL) Thank you Ed & Mike!!

My boyfriend surprised me with a 3 night get-away at the Lexington House for my birthday...and he couldn't have picked a better place! From the moment you arrive you can feel the warmth. The gardens and property are breathtaking, the inn is immaculate, the pool is tranquil, the food is phenominal...but more importantly, our hosts, Ed and Mike, were two of the most accommodating, sincere people I've ever met!! At every turn, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Above and beyond. They have thought of eveything, even the little "woops" basket!! :-) We look forward to going back again and again, to experience all of the seasons at this lovely inn. It is without question home away from home, and the most romantic, peaceful time I've ever had!! J&D
