We stopped in at 90 Main for a drink and a snack and to check it out for a birthday dinner. The lounge area was very nice - not Bucks County at all, much more like the city. Our server - Derek - was great and did an excellent job describing the choices and was attentive (and funny!)
We returned the next night for dinner and although they were very busy they got us drinks right away. Dinner was great - the beef was wonderful - and the chocolate fondue dessert was perfect.
Of all of the places to try in New Hope I'd put this at the top of my list.

My girlfriend and I were exceptionally pleased with all aspects of 90 Main. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our seats for dinner. We were placed by a fireplace, which set the scene for an intimate dinner although it was New Year's Eve. Our waiter was phenomenol in that he had a great personality and was extremely accomodating and attentive. The food was great. It was fresh and cooked to our likings. The drinks were reasonably priced and consistently mixed just right. The crowd was mixed, younger, older, multicultural...just perfect. The music was fantastic. Considering it was New Year's Eve, we were both highly impressed! The owner and all staff were friendly, knowledgeable and inviting.

If you are looking for a classy and hip lounge, this is the one! We look forward to spending many more nights at 90 Main!!!

Disappointed

Disappointed to say the least. My wife and I were at 90 Main in the summer and really enjoyed ourselves. The service was terrific as well as the food. We came back two weeks ago and we were very disappointed. It was like we were at a completely different restaurant. The food, I had the Asian Beef entree was just average. Very tough to eat and overcooked. My wife had the Half Chicken which was very salty and again, overcooked. The service was very slow and the waiter looked like he did not want to be there. He never came over to check on us and we had to ask for him to come over because my wife needed another drink. The only thing we remembered from the last time we were in was the bartender. She remembered us, or at least she acted like it and said hello. The drinks were very good but the food was not. It is not cheap and we expected more from the night.

All in all it was a disappointing night and we probably will not be back.

Don't go for the Tapas...

Like anywhere else in New Hope, you are paying for the location and not the food or service. In Bucks County it is hard to find a traditional Tapas restaurant, but we thought we'd give this one a try after we saw many billboards and advertisements for it throughout the county.

The atmosphere was cute...but not great. Half of the seats had no backs and if they did, they were extremely uncomfortable. I guess the only way to be comfortable here would be to sit on the bar stools?

My main advisory is this: This is not your traditional Tapas bar. They have very contemporary, almost strange Tapas. Don't come here expecting Patatas Bravas or any other Tapas staple. Some of the Tapas were down-right disgusting...the Ceviche for example. There was too much vinegar in the marinade, and the taste was overpowering. The rest of our Tapas could've been yummy, but the major disappointment was that all the meats were overcooked or fatty slices. It is just unnecessary, when paying these outrageous prices, to chew my Tapas for 20 minutes before swallowing.

If this were a dive bar anywhere else in the U.S. serving this kind of food at half the price - that would be acceptable. This was an incredibly expensive meal for the quality of food we received.

A side note - they do not do half price Tapas here during Happy Hour or any other time... unlike many other Tapas bars. You will pay full price at all times for your Tapas. There is also NO SANGRIA of ANY kind.....................

I have tried this spot many times.
It is great for the drinks and the entertainment on
any given day. But the food is way over priced and
just NOT worth it. The cheesesteaks were 15.00
YES $15.00 each.
we did not like them at all and left there and
went to John and Peters and ordered cheesesteaks
again for 1/2 the price. They were much better at
John and Peter's. So do not eat at 90 Main. Just go
for a cocktail. All my friends feel the same way about
about this spot. The bartenders are very nice there.
