After hearing good reviews about this place, we thought we'd give it a try during a recent overnight visit to Lancaster County. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience at all. First of all, it's over-priced. Second, the place looks dated. Old booths that look like they're from 1980. Thirdly, we all went in feeling fine. Halfway through the dinner, my son starting throwing up. I rushed him to the bathroom. On the way out from the bathroom, I developed a terrible headache that I only get when I ingest MSG or some other food additive. Not saying for sure that's what caused it, but it's mighty coincidental. 5 minutes later, my daughter is saying "daddy, I feel sick." Fortunately, the trip wasn't a TOTAL loss. My wife said her dinner was decent, but only decent. Nothing special. Nothing even CLOSE to the Shady Maple not far up the road which is FAR superior. The lady at the counter did feel sorry for my son so she gave us a refund on the price of his dinner. But don't waste your time at this dated old expensive place. Go to the Shady Maple.
