“Great Econo choice for Airport, or a place to sleep.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

This Motel 6 is better than others I've stayed at around the country. It is a super-value if you just need a place to sleep. Be sure to bring your own shampoo as none i provided. Plan to use your data plan as there is a charge for wifi access.
Good restaurants nearby, and quick access to Harrisburg, and the airport.
NOTE: Motel Rooms are in the process of being renovated as of April, 2013.

Upon arriving the staff a new employee was very pleasant checking me in after I had made a on-line reservation, I had requested a pet friendly, non-smoking room with a double bed and 1st floor as I didn't want to have to carry a dog crate to another floor and that’s just what I recieved. The room smelled very clean and seemed very clean. I stayed 2 nights and the room was made up good the 2nd day. So staff and room was great, you have to pay $2.99/day for internet access which I did, I had trouble logging in and after calling the front desk they gave me a 800 number to call for tech support which got me connected ok. However during my stay I had to call tech support 3 more times as the internet kept going out on me, once on hold for 18 + minutes, this was very frustrating, other than that for $33.99/night it was a nice stay.

first room had 2 dirty beds. both had hair and dirt in them. As i used to be a housekeeper i could clearly tell nobody had changed the sheets, the shower was also absolutely foul. I went to put in a wake up call just to find that the phone line was cut.. not broken, not old and worn, physically cut. the night auditor gladly moved our room to the next one over upon entering the room i checked both beds and again both were dirty. i pick up the remote just to discover it was covered in something sticky. turned the heater on and while it didnt blow anything close to hot air it made sounds like it was going to break at any time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. they really need to teach their housekeepers how to change sheets and check there rooms properly.

Well, it's a ordinary Motel 6. The room and bathroom was clean. Parking was quite broad. The price is very affordable, and easily meets function. No frills but is a great choice for the night without spending much money. I would give it a thumbs up.

I stayed here for one night and really thought about immediately leaving after I opened the door to the room. But, I really needed a few hours of sleep.

The floor was not vacuumed and there were pistachio shells next to the bed. The sheets were stained as were the pillow cases. GROSS!!!!

The staff was friendly but that could not make up for the ghetto like atmosphere. The place really needs a paint job.

I can live with a small room and no frills but the room needs to be clean. This was just awful. I even found some kind of dead bug in the sheets and a few hairs...

Don't even think of staying here. It also had a weird smell.

This was a zero!

This is the cheapest hotel in the Hershey Park area!!! The room was clean!!! The outdoor pool was small however great for small kids. Not all the rooms have microwaves and fridges. You must request those rooms when booking. We had a cooler and a small table top grill which worked out great because our room did not have a microwave or a fridge. There's a small grassy area in the back of the hotel so we fired up the grill there. The beds were comfortable. Easy access on and off the highway. About 20 minutes away from Hershey Park. The people at the front desk were nice. They ran out of wash clothes, so bring a few extra, we only had two. They did supply enough towels for four people. It's not the Ritz Carlton by any means; however, it served it's purpose.

Except for the crazy shower temperature going back and forth, I find this a perfectly suitable place to stay. It's not fancy, but it's clean, friendly, quiet, and very convienent. Behind the motel was a great place to walk my dog and there was plenty of well-lit parking. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled "neutral". I would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Pet friendly!!!
