“I'm ready to return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2011

I recently traveled through Pennsylvania and Ohio and each day we stayed at a different B&B. The Pleasant View Farm Bed and Breakfast was our favorite! Nancy spoiled us and the accommodations were amazing. I hope we can stay there again soon!

Pleasant View Inn

My wife and I first stayed at the Inn for several days in May 2011. Based on our recommendation, my family took over (literally) the entire Inn for a long weekend in early October 2011 in connection with a family reunion being held in the area. We occupied all the rooms in the Carriage House and Main House.

The Inn and all rooms are picture perfect. A beautiful farm layout, lovely main house, superior rooms and furnishings, first class common areas, and outstanding breakfast. Nancy is an excellent Chef.

Nancy and Mike, as well as their two girls, really make you feel at home.

We absolutely loved our time at Pleasant View Farm. The beautiful ambience was topped only by the warmth and hospitality of the family who made their home our perfect getaway! The pond, horses, chickens, and honey fresh from the hive were highlights for our family. This is a perfect location for everything from family reunions (our reason for being there) and wedding parties to second honeymoons. The accommodations are both private and homey, and Nancy's breakfast is not to be missed. We would highly recommend it for a leaf peeping weekend or even a holiday getaway! When everyone from our two teenagers to the 85-year old elder statesman of our family agreed it was two thumbs up, we knew we had found a special place!

it was so peaceful and relaxing. we enjoy lovely surrounding grounds, with their horses and deer roaming about the fields. we picniced by the gazebo, even helped catch a 9 pound catfish!!. The carriage room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable with fireplace and jacuzzi. Nancy even ask about breakfast likes / dislikes, allergies. and when we sat down to the filling gourmet breakfast of delightful warm muffins, crisp bagel slices with home made plum jelly, fresh fruit &yogurt; farm raised eggs with fresh pesto and tomato, baked home style potatoes and turkey sausage, complimented by great coffee and juice.wow- it was a wonderful, very personal, stay. we will be back!!

Room Tip: very spacious, and quiet.

We spent a special weekend with friends. We were greeted and shown to our spacious room. Ours had a jacuzzi, flat screen t.v, and a small fridge to keep our wine chilled. What a beautifully restored home. Nancy booked massages for us and made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were outstanding. Nearby is the local market. It was so much fun to get visit. We plan to go back in the fall.

My second stay with the McKinney's... great hosts! Comfortable, quiet and beautiful... the whole farm is pure joy. Breakfast is always yummy... fresh eggs from their chickens, a plus! Great location for those in town on business or just passing through. I'll be back!
