“Lunch was great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

This restaurant has been relocated to Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. Two of us went for lunch mid week. Our only option was the lunch special at 8.95, which was fine with us. It was a choice of appetizer and entree. The coconut soup was fantastic. Also loved the Matsaman curry, but wish it was a little spicier (I asked for hot). Will return.

“Thai Tea was a NEON and DELICIOUS”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

I think that this place is beautiful and calm. It's slightly modern with nods to the budhist temples and Thai culture in its decor.

The food was quite heavy for Thai. My husband ordered stuffed chicken wings...not the best. They were really overwhelmingly greasy and dense.

He also ordered shrimp skewers which were not very appealing on the stick and rested on a giant piece of iceberg lettuce.

They tasted good, but again, not impressed.

My pineapple stirfry was good, but not $15 good.

MY THAI TEA WAS SO GOOD. It was the brightest color orange and I was scared to drink it, but it tasted so sweet and refreshing. I've had Thai Tea before, but wowsers.

Overall, I would go back for a lunch special, but I'm not spending $40 there again. It was good but not great. The ambiance compensates for its lack luster menu.

“Panang curry to die for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

We visited a couple of years ago and were not thrilled. Went back a few weeks ago, and loved it! (maybe we just picked the wrong things on the menu last time). The appetizer vegetable rolls were exquisite, and the panang curry was truly wonderful - a complex, flavorful treat. I chose "medium" heat, and it was a little spicy for me (it is Thai, after all). The kids picked "mild" and were quite happy. My husband swears he's going to try "Thai hot" next time! Atmosphere is great - very upscale inside and out. Just make sure you turn before you see the restaurant if you are going east towards Lancaster on Harrisburg Pike: the road off which you turn to the parking lot comes up before you see the restaurant, and parking can sometimes be tricky at busy times.

“Pure Asian atmosphere with a definite designer touch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

Whether a tourist or a local, when in Lancaster County and you're not feeling the normal food range it has to offer, try Sukhothai off Harrisburg Pike close to F&M. The minute you walk into the place you're surrounded by Asian culture... every detail, including the huge lily pads hanging from the ceiling, makes the dining experience perfect. The wide variety of appetizers and main courses are unsurpassed by the use of fresh, perfectly cooked food. Eating there several times without disappointment, weekend evenings tend to be busy so expect a longer wait compared to other days.
