“Mesmerizing..tranquility redefined..a place to go with loved ones”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Want a peaceful morning to ponder what your life has become? Think about the person you once were and contemplate where you are going? This is the place to be.
The cafe itself is quite cramped but that only adds to the cozy atmosphere, and you can have your breakfast at one of the tables next to the river, listen to the river's murmurs and nature's tranquil sounds.
The food..is just unbelievable. The sweets and baked products are so authentic they literally readjust your taste buds. Oh and free coffee refills! Woohoo!!
Take a loaf of their signature bread home, and get to know what real bread tastes like.
Definitely coming here again and again until I figure my life out over one of their coffee parfaits.

“Wonderful surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

My sister learned of this restaurant and bakery by word of mouth and we are glad that she did! We were there for lunch last year in our travels so had to go back again this year. Fantastic sandwiches and soups and the pecan bar that I had for dessert was scrumptious. The restaurant overlooks a creek and they have outside tables. I suggest going on a nice sunny day and enjoy!

“Fun Bakery!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

This is a great get away from Morgantown! Spend a morning with fresh scones and coffee! It is a little pricey but not enough to stop me from going back!

“Salt Rising Bread - A Blast from the Past”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

This bakery makes old fashioned Salt Rising Bread, something that is rare these days. Due to the time-consuming process it requires, most places have discontinued offering it. I ordered 3 loaves online. They make it every Monday and Tuesday, and ship it out the same day. I received my order in 2 days. It was fresh and delicious and I will definitely order again. I certainly look forward to visiting the bakery in person when I get to PA, as the menu looks wonderful!

“Worth the drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

A little out of the way in the small town of Mount Morris, PA. The place is small but the portions are hugh---very unique bakery items made on the spot. I have enjoyed the reuben sandwich a few times and my friends say the cranberry turkey sandwich is delicious too. While there be sure to pick up a loaf or two of their freshly made bread and dessert items. A unique, delightful experience.
