First you need to know that the park is not in Johnsonburg -- the park with the Skywalk is near Mount Jewett, PA (north and east of Johnsonburg). Once you are at the park, you are in for a magnificent view from what remains of the Kinzua railroad bridge. Before the tornado destroyed much of the bridge, you could walk across the entire bridge; sadly, this is not an option anymore. But they have done a great job of creating the Skywalk so you can still appreciate incredible views of the Kinzua Creek gorge and appreciate the destructive force of the tornado. Two cautions: (1) Although the Skywalk is very safely constructed, if you are afraid of heights, you may want to avoid the actual Skywalk and stay with the lower observation deck. (2) The winds through the gorge can be very strong -- if you are visiting in cold weather, dress for a wind chill! Otherwise, enjoy!
