Absolutely fantastic place to visit, whether you're interested in history or not. The estate of the Pinchot family makes you want to learn more about the Conservation movement and its history in America. If Grey Towers mansion isn't open, it's still fun just walking the grounds.

“Grey Towers -- a journey through time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Grey Towers tours are worth the hassle getting through the narrow admissions corridor. Tours used to be free, but now are not. Recommend checking its website for free admission days/special events. The Pinchot family (descendants of Gifford Pinchot, who supervised its construction and was pals with Teddy Roosevelt) still live on the estate and are involved in conservation efforts. Very cool building, rich with history. Very crowded during nice weather, so try to visit on overcast days and bring your camera !

Even with handicapped parking some access is very difficult ut the views overlooking the town of Milford, PA are amazing.

“A Modern Castle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We've visited Grey Towers many times over the years. The structure itself is magnificent. The unique architecture, the beauty of the rooms themselves, the manicured grounds are beautiful. Governor Pinchot was the founder of American Forestry and this is what makes Grey Towers so important, to the area, and to the Nation. A must see at least once in your lifetime.
