“Best Motel possibly out there.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Splendid service making you feel as if you're in your own home. the staff is unique in a good way, by that i mean they clean the room when ever you want and many other things. also the beds are as comfortable as it could get, very clean room too. Very Very Very Cheap. Very affordable. Makes the money worth no doubt. I would recommend this motel for anyone. The location is amazing too located by many stores that open till late like Walmart. Has many fun things to use with the family like a basketball hoop and a trampoline.

Best motel in town. If you are looking for good service, nice family owned place that is clean and reasonably priced, then this is your place. My husband and I just moved to PA 2 weeks ago and will not be moving to our new place til the first of the month. When we first arrived that night, we stayed at the Hampton which was great but overly priced. Since we knew our stay would be longer, we decided to search for a motel and luckily we found scottish inns. The family there are nice and sweet and very accommodating. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Why go to a hotel that's twice the money when u can have the same clean service at a more reasonable price. We have made good friends with the owners and will look forward to our stay again next week. Thanks guys!!

The Scottish Inn was overall the best motel that I've stayed in. We came from Florida and we were looking for a hotel/motel and came to Scottish Inns. The staff is wonderful, they are so sweet and caring and make sure that you feel comfortable and the room is very clean. I highly recommend this for anyone.

Room Tip: All rooms are really nice.

The beauty of the Scottish Inn Milford lies with the owners who staff the place themselves. It is a property that is maintained with pride and attention to guest need is paramount. Our room had two double beds with reasonable space for three adults. The closet and drawer space was adequate for a short stay. The bathroom shower was excellent, but sink counter space was lacking. The air conditioning was noisy, but up to the task or keeping us cool during 90 degree days. The double pane windows keep noise from I-84 to a moderate level. If you are a light sleeper pull out the ear plugs or use the AC fan for "white noise". The Village Diner next door has excellent American road food. It is not a 24-hour diner, but it was always there when needed. Perhaps the best endorsement comes from my 86 year old mother-in-law, who tends to be quite picky. She is already planning on a stop here next year... God willing.

The motel staff was friendly, the room was clean, and was in a good location for what we were looking for. As long as you understand it is a fairly roomy motel economy room, this is one of the best places to stay in the area. They were more than helpful in giving advice on places to eat and things to do. Its right next to a small diner next door for breakfast, and near other places to go in Milford. Well taken care of property for a small motel.

This motel is run by a very friendly family. Always ready to help. My husband and I stayed here during a very stressful transition from one home to another. The owners were very helpful and accommodating letting us stay with our cat. Both rooms we stayed in were very clean and pleasant. I would highly recommend this motel and would gladly stay again.

Room Tip: No. 16 is very convenient and quiet

Ours was just a last minute overnight trip on the motorcycle. We have stayed in many motels and paid many different prices. The Scottish Inn was one of the best! We had a Queen for $70. I have stayed at an expensive Best Western that was dirty and had a rotting balcony on the second floor. That cost us $90. This place was spotless and Deb, at the front desk, was awesome! I had to laugh at the reviewer who wrote about the bugs. It's the Poconos, in the summertime! What the world do you expect??? If we ever visit this area again, we will be staying here and would highly recommend it.
