“Nice experience, but could be better!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We had a family get together at the Red Robin and were a party of 10 which included 4 children. The staff at the restaurant were very accomodating and did their best to seat us together at the appropriate time even though they did not take reservations.. The children were given Kid's menus and an activity sheet w. crayons and could occupy themselves while the food was being prepared.

The food was delicious and the portions very ample.(I had to take half of mine home in a box) The waitress was very attentive and our "bottomless" drinks were refilled without even asking. The only problem we had was that the waitress did place the order for our appetizer (the large tower of onion rings) and one of the adult's burgers, which meant that we got the appetizer with our entrées and one of us had to wait an additional 10 minutes for his food.

The noise level in the dining room was very high (as is at most Red Robins) so if you have a problem with this you should probably pick another venue. All in all, we had an enjoyable dining experience!

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Amazing restaurant with equally amazing food. Their famous burgers are expertly crafted, and each one delivers an exciting flavour. The staff is perfect, hospitable and prompt. The prices are just a tad high, but worth it. The beautiful walls are adorned with nostalgic artifacts, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Overall a very nice choice for casual dining.

“Upscale Burgers and other Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

My wife and I, once again, ate dinner here. She ordered the fish and chips (substituting a side salad for the fries), I had the clam strips. So why did we patronize a burger joint to eat seafood? Well, neither of us was in the mood for a burger, but we like the friendly and relatively fast service as well as the atmosphere. We have had several of their burger creations and were not disappointed with any of them. Red Robin also offers a variety of other items, such as soups, salads, appetizers and desserts. Families and groups are always welcome and their prices are reasonable. Bar service is available, and you'll find the staff singing "Happy Birthday" to somebody almost every night!
Compared to Five Guys (the other non-fast-food burger establishment).... well, there is no comparison!

“Nothing special...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

It's a chain, so you pretty much know what you are going to get, but I was disappointed that they recently changed their menu - they took away the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and a Pot Roast Sandwich which was what two of us in our party were going to order and they have no Buffalo Chicken on the menu at all? Also, for a place that advertises all you can eat fries - the portions they bring are ridiculously small - I know they are probably just trying to save money, but it seems cheap. Also, the tables at the Mechanicsburg, PA location are entirely too close together. I kept getting hit by the servers trying to squeeze behind me and the table behind me - it was like this on all sides - I felt like we were crammed in like sardines - not a great atmosphere. I'm never overly thrilled when I go to Red Robin - just OK for me.

“Good Burgers and Nice Family Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2012

We visited Red Robin and had a very nice evening.
The hostess and servers were all welcoming and very friendly. Our service was very efficient; orders were taken quickly, drinks refilled without asking. Very impressive!
The food was a treat, also very good. The burgers and fries were tasty, hot and fresh. The bleu cheese burger is awesome! The soup and salad combo was a nice surprise. The soup had a great flavor and the grilled chicken salad was full of fresh ingredients. The appetizers were the standard fried fare, but still pretty good and reasonably priced. We had a great evening with good food and service. This was one of the few places everyone agreed was one to visit again.
