A long overdue review, as we have been dining here since Alba opened as a small BYO-only place over eight years ago. Now it has expanded, added a bar and full wine service (with BYO still permitted), and it has not lost the personal touch and magical feel it had when it first opened. Chef Sean Weinberg and his wife Kelly are maintaining the high standard they set, and adding and tweaking the menu with fresh season variants. From the appetizers to the pasta and fish courses, to the various meats grilled on the indoor real wood-burning hearth, the food is cooked to perfection and not overly seasoned. The biggest dilemma we usually face is whether to have the large cheese course vs dessert at the end -- no room for both! The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and not intrusive, with a nice pace set between the various courses. Weekends can be busy, so I find that Wednesday and Thursday nights are best for a more relaxed experience. Bravo!
