Went to Jimmy's for lunch today after having passed it many times while dining at other restaurants in the Westgate Plaza. I was hoping for more than what Jimmy's delivered. I had the pulled pork sandwich and while the bun was overflowing with meat, it was just OK, in my opinion. There was hardly any sauce on the meat, and the pork was dry; to me, that's a real minus with barbequed meat. The restaurant is plain, with little or no ambiance, but that can be overlooked in a BBQ joint. The young woman at the counter was very pleasant and quick to please. All in all, an average restaurant; perhaps because it is a BBQ restaurant north of the Mason-Dixon line, people are giving it a bit of a pass, but on this one experience, I'd have to stick with an average rating and hope that it improves.
