“Great Wedding”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

My sister had her wedding at Bear Creek this weekend. It was wonderful! The staff set up all of the decorations and we didn't have to worry - it looked just as we described them to set it up. We danced all night and had a great time! The hotel is impeccable! The staff was courteous and it went off without a hitch! I highly recommend Bear Creek for anyone planning a wedding in or around the Lehigh Valley!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the slopes.

BearCreek Mountain Resort is a remote, quiet and wonderful resort. I highly recommend this FANTASTIC establishment. The staff are some of the greatest I have encountered, anywhere. The hotel is clean and modern. The grounds are immaculate and so relaxing... I was on business, but would return here just to get away for the weekend.

Room Tip: Suits are the greatest.

For a time of relaxation and quiet, I decided to start my vacation the day after a major holiday...the perfect time because the resort was deserted. The rooms were nicely appointed and clean. The staff was always polite and helpful. I loved the little spa where I had a wonderful massage. The resort provides plenty of recreation in a beautifully natural setting.
My only complaint was the overpriced dining options on site. There were only 2 restaurants open during my stay: the "Trail's End Cafe" on par with Panera/ Starbucks (overpriced a la carte); and "The Grille" which is a full service sit down "fine" dining place ($20-$30/entree). The food quality was mediocre at best and not very tasty. I was hoping to save gas and just veg out at the resort, but because of the limited dining selections, I found myself out and about looking for food. You'll definitley need a car, as most of civiization is at least 5-10 miles away.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and hope to return some day soon, groceries in tow.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the top floor, because the sound of people walking loudly above one's head...

We just had our daughters wedding at Bear Creek. We checked into The Loft Saturday morning and left Monday afternoon for the Sunday wedding. We did rehearsal Sat night with party at and in the pool afterwards.
FANTASTIC is the best way to describe everything about the place and the staff. Theresa the "planner", Don the "setup guy", V the "barkeep" are just awesome just to name a few. Could not have been any better.
The venders were great also. Reflections Photography from Allentown, Piece A Cake from Macungie, DJ Bruce Miller from Boyertown, Rev.Gary Dieolf Christian Light Ministries frm Oley.

We were there for a wedding. This resort is simply beautiful, from the grounds, the lobby, and the rooms. We had a delicious pannini in the Cafe and a buffet breakfast in the Grill. I would definitely return with some friends for an overnight and dinner at The Grill. It was worth the two-hour drive.

Room Tip: I had a huge room with a king size bed, a sofa and fireplace. There was a small refrigerator ,microw...

We visit Bear Creek Mountain Resort during the summer. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean, in fact the entire resort is very clean and well maintained. We always have a nice relaxing weekend with our kids, enjoying the pool and the restaurant.

We visited on a beautiful night, experienced Movie under the Stars, so awesome! Had a great dinner at The Grill first, then relaxed outside for the movie. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to go back to ski!
