“Great little local restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

We were just looking for a quick bite to eat after visiting the chocolate factory and decided to give Pork & Wally's a try. We had an excellent tasting beef burger of about 1/3 pound, and a pork sausage sandwich w/sauerkraut. Both were excellent, as were the fries, the potato bisque w/ hard boiled egg (tastes far better than it may sound), and the alligator sausage soup with a perfect Louisiana bite to the broth.

The prices were reasonable, place was clean, the service excellent and the food was served very hot. If you're looking for a quick meal of excellent, filling food while seated in a homey comfortable atmosphere, give this place a try.

“Nice little local eatery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

My husband and I went it to just grab something quick after doing a few errands. We had seen the restaurant but never had the opportunity to stop in. It was a comfortable little "local" type place. The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. Although there were no families with kids in there at the time, I would suspect it is probably a nice place to take a family for an afternoon lunch. The food was good, I had a burger and it was cooked and seasoned well. The value was good. It wasn't exceptional inexpensive, but not as much as other burgers can be in the area. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. I enjoy supporting local establishments, so I will be back.

“Not that great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I ate here last month. I had the pulled pork sandwich and he had a club. Food was not tasty very boring. Almost $10 for a pork sandwich (no choice of sauces) and it didn't even come with chips or a pickle. Club was very basic. Again...nothing to accompany the sandwich.

Thank you for your comments. We hear this comment a lot that our sandwiches aren't served with anything. Most of our sandwiches are 10" long and our sides are enough to share. We do sell chips for .99 cents. We also have revamped our menu to include lower prices and 1/2 portions on most sandwiches. We serve our pulled pork sandwich with our home made Carolina BBQ.

“Not disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

I read the reviews before we ate here. We were not disappointed. Service was fast and our food was delicious. And plenty of it for us. Will definitely go back again.

“Great burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

My husband & I had great burgers here on National Cheeseburger Day 2013. Very tasty and the buns were very light and toasty. The fries were fabulous. Love great fries! But...they came out first (almost as you would expect an appetizer would). The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 was the service. The young ladies seemed very inexperienced and distracted. A short course on how to attend to customers might be useful.
