“Strange little place...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

Nice restaurant with odd food selections like salad with rabbit meat and multiple selections of different types of mussels. I finally settled on fish and fries, was very good. The staff was very polite and eager to help with suggestions. The place has a wide selection of beers to choose from and they let us sample a few. They only have thirteen tables so they like you clear out as soon as you are done and move back to the bar area. Very clean, neat and orderly place. Little pricey...

“Beer 5*, food 2”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

We went here looking for the Flyers game, beer and food. They have one small screen at the bar, a nice beer menu, NO WINE for non beer drinkers, and average food. The pulled pork had no flavor except for the bbq sauce on it. The fries, on the other hand are fabulous! Disappointing, except for the beer drinker.

“Fantastic Food and Amazing Beer!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2012

The beer choices will absolutely blow your mind!! They have a fabulous selection of draft and bottled beers and the servers will make recommendations based on what you like. You can also "sample" the beer before you commit to a larger size.

The menu is small, but thoughtfully planned out and the food is quite delicious. Their risotto is fabulous and their chicken fingers are unbelievable.

The restaurant is small but turnaround is quick. Not the best place to dine with the kiddies unless they have a more adventurous palate.

Service is usually ok. Some (but not all) of the servers seem like pretentious beer snobs, but, I suppose, that happens when you go to "beer college." The host or hostess is usually friendly.

The Craft is definitely worth your time and money.

“Food is getting BETTER!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2012

We've been going to Craft Ale House since it opened. The food is definitely getting better. The menu is more varied now, and the creativity has leaped to new heights. My husband loved the Yellow Curry Mussels, and the soup of the day was white bean with bacon - it was amazing. I had the tried and true roast pork sandwich that was large enough to take half home. The desserts are still a bit lack luster, but the beer is good to make up for it. They had Southern Tier Choklat Stout on tap and I mixed it with a Lindenman's Framboise - a raspberry Lambic for a delicious chocolate dessert like taste! Go to Craft Ale it's new and improved!

“Very Nice, Small but comfortable!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

It was our first time here. Friday nights are very busy so it’s best to get there before 5:30 otherwise you will have a wait. The food was very good, a very large selection of beer. Our waitress was very friendly. It took awhile for the food to be served but that might have been due to the fact that it was so busy. The food was hot, good and plenty of it.
