“An amusement park in the woods.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Stroll through the Storybook forest first ,the little ones love recognizing the characters from their fairytale books. Then, you climb the jumping jungle(a playground for all ages). The rest of the day is poolside and/or amusement park rides. Yes, wait for the trolley at Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and sing along. No thrill rides such as tall superfast rollercoasters but still a fun park to take the kids with the entire family, leave the children's friends at home. That's what the school picnic at Kennywood is for. This a nice fun day to actually enjoy with mom/dad, grandma and grandpap.

“Out and About”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is a very nice amusement park for young and old alike. In fact, I brought my kids to it when they were young. Now I am bringing my grandchildren. The park includes a story book forest for the young at heart as well as the kids. We enjoyed....going into the crooked house built by the crooked old man or stepping on the deck of the Good Ship Lollipop...and trying to pull the sword Excalibur out of the rock that it is embedded in. Stories that many of us grew up with and that our children are missing out on today. The amusement part of the park has your standard kid to adult rides including a water park. There is also a large picnic area wrapped around the north side of the park within easy walking distance of the rides.

“Great for young kids & families on a budget!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Took my daughter here for her 3rd b~day, great place for kids 3-12. At 3 my daughter was able to ride 90% of them. Games are cheap to play as well. Parking area has picnic tables so u are able to pack coolers & eat outside the main park if u like. Waterpark area is great for the kids too with lifevest orovided & required for the younger ones. Soo much to do including Storybook Forest to experience all the original nursery rhymes u use to grow up with. Planning on doing this again on an extended wkend.

“Great for kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This is a great park for the little kids and older kids as well. But really caters to the little ones. Lots of great rides and a real beautiful park with lots of mature trees which gives it a great feel. Your kids will love it.
