but I was terribly disapointed! On my birthday, I always pick a out of the way place that I haven't tried before. This was a train wreck! We were 1 of 3 tables seated on a Saturday evening at 6pm. After 30 minutes and our water didn't arrive, the waiter told us they were out of ice, and someone had just gone to the store to buy more. Ice. Really? Next, we were told they were out of mussels, which removed the appetizer I hoped to order, so I opted for the scallops. My wife was told they were out of chicken, so she ordered the beef crepe (of which the meat was not very tender). After 40 minutes of our arrival, the 4th table was seated, and 15 minutes later, they were eatiing a scallop appetizer, which I still had not recieved. When I brought this to the waiters attention, he appologized and told us that this was unacceptable, and that a meal would be comped. When our entrees arrived, my daughter requested ketchup for her fries, and we were told that they were out of ketchup. Ketchup. Really? After the entrees, which were fair, my scallop appetizer arrived. It did turn out to be the best thing we had at the restaurant (and they were quite good). In the end, we got the bill, and they comped the fries and scallop appetizer. The waiter was the only employee that we saw in the front of the restaurant. He was overworked and undertrained (not his fault). He was courteous and doing the best he could. I've eaten in French restaurants in the US and in France, and trust me, this place needs better management and better food. I was really hoping to have a quality French restaurant in our area, but this isn't it.
