Yesterday was my wife’s birthday and we wanted to find a place to celebrate where we could splurge and really do it up nice. Last year we had such a great time at Elizabeth’s that we decided to go there again this year. I am sooooo glad we did. We love their food and their atmosphere is wonderful. They didn’t let us down.
For the first course appetizers we shared the spicy salmon sushi roll and the tomato with goat cheese dip. Both of these were to-die-for. Add to that a dirty martini and a bottle of Korbel “Brut”. Awesome.
For the second course we tried a bowl of their garlic potato soup. It was delicious.
For the main course my wife tried their brick oven pizza and I had their special ribeye steak. Both of these dishes were great.
For the dessert course, they brought out a crème brulee with a lit candle on top. Happy Birthday was written with chocolate sauce on the outside rim of the plate. Really nice touch, my wife loved it.
Our server did an excellent job, everything was there when we wanted it.
Overall, everything was perfect. In this 4 county area there are only 2 other restaurants which could have matched the aura of Elizabeth’s. They are the 33 East in Williamsport and the Inn at Turkey Hill in Bloomsburg. We wanted to bar hop around Lewisburg before and after our meal, so we choose Elizabeth’s. I am sooooo glad we did!
