“Great Food and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

We had an early extended family Christmas dinner Thanksgiving weekend. We have been here before a number of times and have had wonderful meals. The portions are usually decent to generous size, and the cost is reasonable. The menu selection is probably the largest I've ever seen, and all items can supposedly be served all day - breakfast, lunch or dinner. The decorations and furnishings make this a beautiful Victorian house. This time around the service was a little slower the previous times, as they were extremely busy, but the food was very good and we were in a semi-private room that was just comfortable enough for our group. This has been and remains our favorite restaurant in Lebanon County.

“Stuffed Shrimp”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2011

My wife and I went to this restaurant and we were very disappointed in the food. We order Stuffed Shrimp. There was only one lump of crab meat in the filler they call crab cake. The waitress stated there was no bread filler in the crab cake. There was nothing but filler. We've ate in restaurants all of the country and I rate this restaurant 3 levels below McDonalds. They scratch your bill on a piece of paper and also include their tip. You do not get the option to add a tip. We were only a party of 2. This place is definately overpriced. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

“At best Average Food, High Prices!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2010

My spouse and I had Thanksgiving dinner 2010 here and left incredibly disappointed. First of all we had drinks at the bar before we were seated and paid $7 glass for Sutter Home wine, which is the cheapest of the cheap wines in most liquor stores. If the restaurant had charged $4 glass it still would have been overpriced. My spouse had a bottled Beck's beer which was flat with no carbonation.

When we were finally seated for dinner, we ordered the turkey platters ($24 each) and were really disappointed. The sliced turkey, which looked and tasted like a frozen and heated up product and not from a freshly cooked turkey, was set over a bed of ham, which really puzzled us. If they are serving turkey with ham, why was this not listed in the menu?? The turkey dish was accompanied with two vegs (spouse ordered carrots and asparagus) which were so very overcooked they were like eating mush.

The next day we went to the grocery and picked up a turkey breast, potatoes for mashed potatoes, apple sauce and cranberry sauce, and finally had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner!

“nice but nothing special!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2009

The place was very beautiful but very cramped and you could hear every other table's conversations even at a whisper. The food was okay to good-but pricey for what you get. The service was okay but could use some improvement, and it took forever to get through the meal. We ate on a wednesday night and the place had 3 tabels that were dining and it took us almost 2hours to complete our meal w/o dessert. I acutally wanted dessert but I didn't want to spend another 30mins - a hour there. I'm not sure if I would go back.
