My wife and I had dinner there on New Years Eve. After having a lousy experience when they opened, we figured to give them another chance. With a few exceptions, it wasn't bad. The appetizers (ceviche and diver scallops) were very good and the trout that my wife had was excellent. I ordered the grilled lobster tails. The worst that I have ever had! They came out with some kind of horrible flavoring and were so well done that they stuck to the shell. When the server came over, she handled things very well and offered to have my meal redone. I asked for the lobster to be prepared without any extra flavoring. Of course the cook (not qualified to be a chef) ignored my request and duplicated the same exact meal only with more of the flavoring. Again, the lobster meat stuck to the shell. This time I canceled the order. For desert, we split a piece of Key Lime Pie (my favorite). When it showed up at the table, the filling of the pie had melted and the pie was room temperature. I have enjoyed Key Lime Pie for many years and never had it served this way. I spoke to the manager about and he told me that it was always served that way. I disagreed with him and mentioned that it had raw egg in it and that serving it this way could cause stomach poisoning. He looked at me like a moron without an answer. The real shame of this is that Bonefish is normally a great place to dine, however, I don't think that we will be visiting there location in Langhorne again. By the way, later that night, my wife had issues with her stomach that I feel was due to the desert. Does the Bucks County Health Department know about the way that this restaurant serves their pie? Things to ponder when selecting a restaurant for your family.
