The Cornerstone is charming but has some flaws. When I arrived at around 6 p.m., I rang the doorbell a couple of times and then just let myself in. I didn't see a note for arriving guests so I wandered around the first floor. The common areas are quite nice and the little ponds are pleasant. But where was Andrew? I finally picked up a brochure and called from my cell phone, only to hear the B&B's phone ring. I felt weird saying I was inside the house but Andrew appeared in just a moment. No apology about being scarce. I had to pay first then he showed me my room. I chose the least expensive room and was warned that it was above the kitchen so there could be noise while breakfast was being prepared. Well, maybe if someone had been making the "full country breakfast" that's promised on the website. But I was served coffee, juice and plain pancakes. It was enough food, but if you're not serving much, be honest about it! On the plus side, there's a massive binder with menus for and directions to many restaurants in the area. Very helpful. Plus, there's a computer for guests.
Overall, I would say the building and grounds are quite nice but don't expect much from the people. It's all right but I'm sure there are better options in the area.
