Dear Ruth,
After our phone conversation regarding the hold on your credit card, I contacted Wyndham Technical Support and they checked the transaction. As you paid by cash on the way out, the hold on the credit card was not only voided automatically, but the credit card number was also deleted from the computer. I faxed these facts to your credit card company, and they did not contact us back.
I hope this issue was resolved by your credit card company, and I am sorry you had to deal with this problem.

Dear Glenn,
We are sorry that you did not see the daily safe charge explained on the registration card as well as the sign posted at the front desk. Needless to say you have the right to decline the safe and consequently, we refunded your credit card $7.50. A copy of the refund was emailed to you. Please let us know where on the internet you read that this hotel offered Queen size beds as we only have either king size beds or full size beds.
Finally, we apologize if your room facing the street was too noisy and we thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us.

First I would like to apologize if the housekeepers did not put new sheets the second day you stayed with us; your wishes should have been acknowledged and taken care of.
I am glad you enjoyed the new beds, and found our continental breakfast adequat.

Oct 2012: As other reviewers said the rooms are kept clean but everything is old. Old doors, old plumbing, broken fixtures, and very thin walls. We moved from one room to another and both had doors that looked like they were busted in at some point, and bathrooms that were falling apart. Cost was good. Breakfast was thin bagels cereals and a couple pastries, so don't count on being filled up on that. Stayed for a conference and got in late every night, that's probably why I slept well because I can't stand hearing someone snoring from the next room over.
