Do not stay here. I wish I had checked Travelocity before I went to this place. I am suprised there were no bed bugs. We were given a room at the front of the hotel. Thank God. Originally my husband thought it was at the back of the hotel so we drove back there. We were staying one night and I made sure to unload everything from the car because it was so scary back there I couldn't be sure anything was safe. There were some major repairs going on to some rooms on the first floor - well I'll say it looked like they were replacing the carpets at the very least in the back of the hotel because the old rugs were thrown on the ground and there were some things under a tarp. I could see that work was being done in one of the first floor rooms. It could only be upgrades because they couldn't go down.

We got to our room and I will say it looked surface clean. The furniture is all chipped and worn. The TV's are small and the channel selection poor and not all of the channels worked. Those were the best things it had going for it.

There was no iron, ironing board nor coffee pot. The bathroom was...well.. let me put it this way. I would not let anyone in my family get a shower. The paint was coming off the tub and where the paint wasn't coming off the tub was decorated with the most lovely color of mold. Something leaked in the bathroom but I can't say if it was the sink or the toilet. There was a huge hole in the bathroom wall that they tried to cover up with a plaque but they were unsuccessful.

In the room most of the walls had some kind of dents in them. There was another huge hole in the wall to the side of the bed that was covered up with a board which was then wallpapered to make it look like it was part of the wall, again they were unsuccessful. There were scorch marks on the wall next to that. Not sure if it was from a fire or that lovely triple murder that had been there.

The ceiling was stained from water damage from where the roof leaked. The clientel was well more then a little scary. I can't say anything about the pool as I did not even go to look at it. I was so skeeved by the room. The breakfast was continental. I know it had pastries and bagels and toast but I didn't let my family get near it. I just wanted out. The woman who checked out in front of us was lucky enough to have used hypodermic needles in her room as a bonus.

I did not inspect the beds carefully or look under them so I have no idea what suprises awaited us. It was scary.

Oh I should mention though that the two police cars sitting outside the hotel for the entire night did not bode well but I sure am glad they were there.

  • Liked — The police cars sitting outside all night
  • Disliked — Pretty much the accommodations. SCARY

This was the worst motel/hotel I have ever stayed in. The place was filthy. There were broken glass, beer bottles, and trash laying around everywhere. The outdoor pool was green and we could actually see the algae growing in the bottom of the pool. The room itself wasn't much better. Mold in the bathroom, and dirty sheets! Don't let the managment comments fool you! When I called the front desk at 4:00 pm on a weekday, I was told there wasn't a manager on duty! Don't waste your time or money.

Wow. I wish my boyfriend read these reviews before he booked with Days Inn. I've never written a review but knew I wanted to as soon as I got back from my trip. This is the place where they do undercover television shows where they find all the gross things in hotel rooms. I have similar complaints to ALL the other reviews:
-smelly rooms
-stained floors, carpets, bed sheets, blankets, walls, bath tub, etc.
-no iron and mentions there is
-drain in sink and tub clogged when used them
-shower temperature varied from scalding to freezing
-hair and dust on the floors
-bed sheets are not fitted
-wireless access is limited (I had to take my laptop down the hall to use it)
-continental breakfast is only cereal, and unfresh pastries
-smoking and non-smoking rooms were in the same hallway
-cigarette hole in blanket of a non-smoking room
-blood stain on blanket
Bottom line....many hostels in Europe are taken better care of than this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. By the way, not one review was good, that should tell you a lot!

The room was smelly and dirty. There were stains on the floors and the walls. The carpet was filthy. The pools were dirty and cold. There were bats flying around the outdoor pool. The towels and sheets were dingy and ragged. The blow dryer burned up in my hand when I turned it on. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Where do I start? The lack of air conditioner in the lobby and hallways? No locks on the exterior hallway doors? The dirt and dust on the exterior edge of the floor? Bedsheets that did not cover the matress? The lack of temperature control on the shower (hot one second, cold the next) The sticky matted carpeting? The blood stained
wash cloth? There's the ticket. Blood stained wash cloth is the winner by a narrow margin. Atleast I know where it came from after reading the previous reviews. I kept joking to my son that our door was the one past the blood stain. Now i am not so certain it was not.
Before any trip i will always check out trip advisor
