I'll start by saying I've been to a lot of breweries and brew pubs in the Northeast. LBC impressed me right off the bat when they delivered my flight of beers that included 13 different samples of their regular and seasonal brews. Now, I will honestly say that I did not enjoy all of the beers that I sampled, but there were quite a few that I thought were really quite good. None more so than their Double Chocolate Milk Stout which was by far the most enjoyable take on a chocolate stout that I've had in recent memory.
As for the food, I was there during lunch, so there were only sandwiches, pizza and salads to choose from. The steak sandwich was quite tasty and the meat was prepared as requested. Service was a little slow in the beginning, but there was only one waitress who was working the bar area and it was quite crowded. She did a great job considering the amount of people there, and I was in no rush to leave, so it wasn't a big deal. Near the end of my meal, another waitress had started her shift and things were moving a little more quickly.
The brewery itself is located in an old factory type building with a freight elevator that they still use that seperates the bar area from the main seating area. Don't go there expecting a "quiet" dinner - it has an open floor plan that includes the area where the brewery equipment is located. The only negative was the parking area behind the brewery doesn't have enough spaces. However, there is street parking available. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back!
