We had eaten at Gibraltar for our anniversary years ago, and decided to revisit this year. So glad we did! From the service to the food, everything was wonderful.
We arrived and were seated right away. A nice touch was an anniversary card on our table signed by the servers. Our server, Lindsey was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
We shared the flash fried calamari, which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Just the right amount. I had the Bib salad (big yum, and not too large) and hubby had the Caesar salad(also good, but large portion). For entrees, I chose the pine nut crusted halibut w/basil mashed potatoes and sauteed squash. Wow. Again, great portion size, and everything was amazing tasting. Husband had the Branzini (not sure on spelling), which he had filleted vs whole for my sake. This was a much larger portion, but he enjoyed it. That came with asparagus and potatoes.
We didn't have room for dessert, but I would imagine they were excellent as well.
For us, this was a wonderful meal, another great experience, and still a restaurant that I would recommend!
