Amish country and all it offers is right on your doorstep. The Strasburg Railroad and Pennsylvania Railroader's Museum are also nearby. The staff worked hard to ensure a pleasant stay. There's even fresh popcorn in the afternoon! The room decor is dated (heavy bedspreads and panneling) and the self-serve breakfast nothing to rave about.

Had a group in Lancaster for production at the Sight & Sound Theatre. Found the rooms clean. Bedding and linens crisp and comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot cidar and popcorn in the lobby were a welcome sight after a long day of travel. Hot buffet breakfast was plentiful, yet lacked a little in seasonings. No one went hungry and couldn't complain about the service. Our coffee cups were refilled promptly and everyone seated as soon as they walked in the the restaurant. Hotel property was quiet. No noise heard from the street as the hotel is perpendicular to the street instead of parallel to it.

Our family had another great experience at the Country Inn of Lancaster. The rooms are clean, charming and spacious. The staff is over the top helpful and very professional. We went to Dutch Wonderland (our third visit with our five year old) and our car broke down. The staff was very informative and did everything to help. They generously extended our check out time and the receptionist even drove my husband to the mechanic. We would highly recommend this facility.

Our family stayed here for the weekend 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was great, and the 24 hrs coffee and juice was also great. This place is plain and clean.The indoor pool was fun in the evening with the little ones. The price is great. It was one mile away from Dutchwonderland and outlets, and about 4 from Strausburg railroad. We also enjoyed the restaurant, prices were good. The service was great!
