We were in Lancaster for a show at the American Music Theater. The Wingate by Wyndham hotel was beautiful and well maintained hotel. The staff were perfect with directions and very polite. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hote breakfast next morning had plenty of good healthy food to choose from. The hotel was near the theater as well as near many major shopping stores and outlets. There were plenty of nice restaurants to choose from also. Wonderful stay and nice show at the the theater.

We stayed here because of the indoor water park package offered by the hotel. From other reviews, it seemed like the nicest of the hotels that has access to the Caribean Indoor water park in Lancaster. The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful and prepared. There didn't seem to be a lot of guests staying at the hotel and the parking lot was nearly empty, which made for a very quiet stay. The hotel itself is ideally located with access in minutes to almost any restaurant you could possibly want to visit. The free breakfast at the hotel was more than sufficient and the breakfast area was very well stocked and clean.

Our only complaints were that the heat in our room was turned off when we arrived, so the room had to warm from 61 degrees, which took a while. I'm all for conserving energy, but turning the heat on seems like an easy thing for the staff to do before guests arrive. Also, there wasn't any opaque window dressings, thus the sun shined brightly through the translucent curtains very early in the morning.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel.

We booked a weekend getaway at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel in Lancaster, Pa. They had a waterpark package deal which included an overnight stay and 4 passes to the Caribbean Indoor Waterpark which was next to the hotel. It was a very good deal. The hotel was excellent, to me it looked like it just opened recently. Everything was new and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Especially the make your own pancakes was nice. My wife kept looking at me while I just kept going back to make my own pancakes. It just tasted great. The Caribbean Indoor Waterpark had 4 pools. There was some activity in each of the pools. All of our kids had a great time. The pools were nice and warm even when it was snowing outside. Staff was very friendly and the park very clean. 2nd floor there was seats to eat food. They had delivery options to the waterpark. Overall a great winter getway.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel. He booked a King Suite room and had the staff delivery roses to our room. We went to the Dutch Apple Theater for a since dinner and show. The next day he took me shopping at the Rockvale Outlet center. He has loved me for the past 40 years and continues to show his love toward me. We enjoyed the friendly staff at the hotel and also the nice anniversary card from the manager.
