The first night was 12/11/2014. There was no heat in this room (207). We were given room (209). There we found broken tiles on the bathroom floor. My kids could have cut there feet on it. When you first walk through the door the ceiling was falling down. My father-in-law found dirty underwear on the floor. The sheets were never changed. And we had requested a refrigerator upon arrival which was never there. The next morning we had woke up to find dead bugs on the floor. We took pictures and told the front desk manager who in turn comped us for the night. In 2013 we were told that they were reneveting the 2nd floor. All we noticed that it was painted and new carpets.

We arrived at the hotel mid afternoon to be told there were no double rooms left, but the receptionist told us they could upgrade us to the cottage. It is just a short walk down the avenue. The cottage was lovely, it is split into 4 rooms. The rooms are very large and spacious and had a large jacuzzi bath which was a bonus. There was a large veranda with 2 sunloungers. There was a great variety to eat for breakfast. Staff all very friendly. The hotel is within reach of many restaurants.

Room Tip: Dont know how much extra for the bungalow but it was beautiful it is very quaint from the outside.

The Ramada doesn't look bad at all from the street but when we walked in we immediately thought we might have made a mistake booking here. Lobby was sparse and a little dirty and dated looking. And the small elevator seemed like it was running on half power and was disgusting to step into.... grease streaks on walls and door and dirt on the floor. Our room was large, but dated and dingy... the lighting was terrible and the phone didn't work. The noise/music/DJ from the club/lounge, below our room, kept us up till almost 2am!!! I called at midnight to complain but was told there was nothing they could do about it. (No soundproof walls anywhere!!!) We we checked out, the manager asked about our stay and I complained about the noise from the club and he apologized and said he would give us a credit. Since we booked the room through an agency, we had to call that company, and they had to call the manager to get the credit for us. He said he had written down our complaint and was the person our agency would be speaking to to get the credit. When our agency called, the manager denied any knowledge of a noise complaint by us and did not issue any credit at all!!! This manager's actions and the overall condition of this hotel tells me no one here cares about anything, so my advise is: "Don't book this dump... ever!!"

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel!
