“Back again and so glad of it....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

The ladies at the desk and Stephen take pride in their work and their hotel...and it shows. From the warm greeting you get when you enter the front doors, to the personal service, each and every front desk is a joy to the weary traveler.....and the cookies are really good, also. Coffee is in the lobby 24/7 and always hot. The gentleman at the breakfast buffet in the morning is also pleasant, cheerful and helps everyone with their waffles. I especially enjoyed the "mini waffles" .
The young lady at night with the short dark hair (can't remember her name) isalso so accommodating to inform you where everything "in the neighborhood" is....from the drugstore , to the Target, to where to get a really good apple turnover.
Rooms are spotless, and smell fresh and clean...the linen is also spotless. Towels are fluffy and the shower has great pressure and hot water....which in so many hotels, I find the water pressure is not good....NOT HERE! Perfect weekend.
This Comfort Suites is the best in the area.....no need to look elsewhere to stay ....

I've been going to Lancaster almost every year for the past ten years. This was my first stay at the Comfort Suites (previous stays have been the Fulton Steamboat, Best Western Eden Resort, Best Western Revere Inn, Double Tree, Willow Valley Inn (no longer around), Red Caboose, to name a few). Other than the Fulton Steamboat, this was the first time on staying at a lodging directly on Lincoln Highway right on the commercial strip just a quarter mile east of Dutch Wonderland.

My family was very pleased with the facility. We stayed two (2) nights (7/3 and 7/4/2014). It is situated in an unassuming spot adjacent to the Wendy's and can easily be bypassed if not paying attention to the sign along the main roadway. A turn into the extended driveway leads to the parking lot and the facility itself. Although it is not flashy on the outside, the hotel is quite nice on the inside. Since the hotel was set in a distance from Lincoln Highway (Route 30), there was very minimal traffic noise.

We had a room on the second floor, consisting of two (2) queen size beds. Upon entering the room, a bathroom (bathtub, sink, and toilet enclosed within the same room) is on the side. A loveseat with a pull-out bed, coffee table and desk comprise of the suite section of the room. A small 'half-wall' separates the front section from the two (2) queen size beds. The climate control worked well, keeping the room cool to our desired comfort level. The bathroom water pressure was strong and the entire room was very clean. The room had a microwave oven, coffee machine, and a mini refrigerator with a separate freezer door. Table and floor lamps illuminated the vast majority of the room except for the area closest to the window and closet. There were sufficient number of outlets throughout the room, as well as a desktop electrical outlet with two (2) USB charging ports.

The beds were comfortable. The pillows and blankets appeared to be in good condition. The room has a sturdy mini-safe as well. The free breakfast was sufficient (we stayed two nights - breakfast on one morning comprised of cheese omelet and Canadian bacon and on the second morning comprised of scrambled eggs and sausages as the hot selection. Yogurt, instant oatmeal or grits, fruits, breads, cereals, muffins, and the Belgian waffle maker are available daily. Nothing fancy but more than adequate for our needs. The seating area got crowded at times (after 8:00 AM) and breakfast is available between 6:30 and 9:30 AM.

Overall, a very nice hotel, that is very well maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Although it may not have the "charm" of a Fulton Steamboat Inn, or the extravagance of the Best Western Eden Resort, or the extra features offered at the Double Tree (large regular pool, mini water-park pool for young kids, and a large field), or any on-site restaurant, this is a nice facility for a comfortable overnight stay. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and professional. The hotel is unassuming but did not feel or look "cheap" and the location is very convenient to the attractions, restaurants, and shops on Route 30.

There's nothing negative to say. From the Front desk Concierge Gale who checked us in & welcomed us, to the breakfast, to the room, everything was nice and clean. Restaurants, outlets, & Dutch Wonderland are all with in walking distance from the hotel. When My fam & I come to Lancaster Pa we usually stay at Red Roof Inn, but this will be our new spot. If your in town check them out , the rate per night wasn't bad being 4th of July weekend & all they had to offer. My room had 2 doubles, a sofa bed as well as a fridge ,coffee table, and desk. The beds & pillows were so soft just what my family needed after a day out on the town. Again, I give this hotel a 10 out of 10 on my stay this 4th of July weekend:-):-):-):-).

Great location, and staff. Rooms very comfortable and the setting area in each room is delightful. Comfortable furniture and ammenities. Within walking distance of several wonderful venues. Love this hotel.

Room Tip: Third floor is the most quiet.

This was the nicest comfort suites we have stayed. Check in was quick and the lady at the counter was very friendly and funny. The free cookies at the counter were delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom and shower were terrific. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections. The only negative was the curtains in our room did not close, just the sheers. It did not matter as we get up early anyway.

This is the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest hotel in the Lancaster area. The staff tries hard to make sure each and every guest has everything they need to make their stay comfortable and relaxing. From the management, to the front desk and breakfast staff, all employees treat you special.

Room Tip: All rooms are spotless.

We ended up staying at the Comfort Suites Amish Country as an evening stop in Amish Country on the way to Delaware. The hotel was easy enough to find with plenty of parking. Check in was fast with free cookies.

The rooms were large and clean. Our suite had a king bed with a separate area that had a pull out couch and coffee table. Internet was great and fast, and there was a flat screen TV with many channels. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure.

Breakfast was good with several types of eggs, breakfast meat, bread, danishes, cereal and waffles.

The location is good, within 5-10 minutes of 2 outlet malls, and there is a Target withing walking distance for anything you may have forgot.

Would stay again.
