“Just average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Hotel room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Hotel layout feels like an old Holiday Inn, with very few of the rooms actually accessible from the lobby. Instead, they direct you to pull your car around to entrance A. B, C, or D. Room layout is a bit of a maze, but again, rooms are nice.

My only issue with this hotel was that every person I interacted with (desk, housekeeping, and restaurant) were average at best, definitely not Hilton-type employees. Desk clerk at check in was nice but whined a bit about the long day ahead of him. Clerk at check out was just blah. Housekeeping did my room fine, but left glasses and silverware from the neighboring room overnight (from 3pm the day before). And the breakfast staff was really just disinterested. I waited 7 minutes to be seated, and had to ask for more coffee. Two other tables were occupied. So, not awful, just not what Hilton usually stands for.

A wonderfully maintained, convenient small "boutique style" hotel, Hilton's "Garden Inn"prototype. We were given a high level of customer service by restaurant server MICHELLE GEHMAN and PATRICK MURHANE head of maintenance. The garden courtyard was particularly attractive and relaxing. The bar, restaurant and guest rooms clean, attractively appointed and comfortable. Our only recommendation was to offer bar service. later than 9:00 pm as although Hilton caters to business class travelers, we were vacation travelers and would have appreciated later service hours at the bar, as would several. other guests we met.

i stay at many hilton chain hotels. The one was just grimy. the room was older and the carpet was just grimy. i was completely underwhelmed with the level of service at check in, by "supervisor" Rick. he had much better things to do like talk to the other employees, type on his computer while checking me in. at no time was he even 50% into the situation. If you are staying in the area of granite run drive, i highly recommend staying at one of the other hotels in the area.

The hotel is fine and mostly clean, but the rooms smell odd when the a/c is running, and my room seemed really damp. This is definitely not up to the standards of cleanliness and decor you find at most HGIs. It also has a weird layout. My room was very isolated; I didn't feel particularly safe as no one would have heard my screams if I had fallen or something. It was a long way from the elevators, which are oddly placed, and staff seemed a bit annoyed to have to be helping customers. Also, there is no restaurant service on Mondays, which of course was the one night I was there. I won't be back.

This was the most comfortable quiet stay I have experienced thus far. The staff was great. The fact that the refrigerator and microwave are standard amenities is a PLUS. The pool area was very clean. I stayed here on the 4th of July 2013;I don't know if that was the reason there weren't a lot of guest here but I definitely enjoyed the peace and quietness. I plan to visit Lancaster again this summer with my children and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Our room was on the main floor and easy access to the main lobby. We made reservations at the last minute and most likely got the last room available. The A/C appeared to be old and had a odd smell when it kicked into the cooling phase. The bathroom was small and had not have ventalation. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is located on the western side of Lancaster with easy access to route 30 and 283.

My family recently stayed to attend a soccer tournament. This hotel was very conveniently located to the fields and right off of the highway. The rooms were a decent size and had all the amenities. The in-house restaurant for breakfast was great since we had to be up and out by 7, even at $10 per person.
