This "resort" is not so much a resort as it is a conference center. There are good points and bad points, as there are with most hotels.
The bad:
The room sizes were a little below average. The bathroom is very small. The hotel is VERY close to a busy 4 lane highway. We were there for a conference and to have a good time. We were in the middle of having a good time, laughing and telling some funny stories, when the manager came to our room to tell us to quiet down. It's true that we may have been having a little fun, the wives were left at home for goodness sake, but we were by no means "rowdy and noisy". It's really hard to beleive that we were being disruptive, especially with a busy major highway not more than 500 feet from our room.

Now for the good:
The conference facilities were very nice. 2 nice resturants and a great lounge. But be careful, don't spend too much time or money in the lounge or you'll get the manager called on you. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Don't use the phone, very expensive. Pool area was nice. Resturants were a crowded and expensive breakfast choice. I would suggest the Sheetz store across the parking lot, better coffee and breakfast items at a reasonable price.

Overall this resort was average. It is by no means the #1 hotel in the Lancaster area, as they advertised. I may return, but more likely try somewhere else.

Went away without the children. we booked a non smoking room on the internet and then called to confirm at there hotel. well we only stayed 1 night because they had only smoking rooms. room service never showed to pick up express breakfast order. the staff was not caring at all.

Lovely facility, but the staffing needs major work.

I stayed at the Eden Resort with my family from 8/27/05-9/3/05. I was with my husband and 2 teenage sons. We all had a great time. We got to the hotel at around 1PM and our room wasn't ready. They said it would be ready at 3. We did a few things around the area and came back by 3 and it was ready for us. The front desk staff was very nice. We had a double studio suite. This consisted of a very large studio room with 2 double beds, an open up couch, coffee table, end table, and a club chair. There was also a fireplace which of course we didn't use. There was a small full kitchen which consisted of a full size refigerator with ice maker, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. There was also a full size sink with garbage disposal, many cabinets and pots, pans, glasses, dishes and utensils. There was also a little kitchen table that was set up for 2 with very cute dishes, silverware, cloth napkins and cloth placemats. Our suite was downstairs so we had a little patio which led right from the room with sliding doors. The patio had 2 chairs and a little table. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo and the water pressure was excellent. There was also a sink and vanity with a bench outside the bathroom. They gave us very upscale toiletries which I loved. The towels were quite soft and plush. The beds were a bit soft though but the sheets were not scratchy and were clean. Unfortunately on our first night there was a leak from the upstairs suite. We informed the staff about this the next day and that night they moved us to a different suite. This suite was identical to the first. We were right by the highway and when you were outside you could hear the traffice but once you closed the door it was not bad. Housekeeping did a very good job. I would leave them notes in the morning for things and when we got back to the room everything that I had requested was there.
There were 3 pools and a whirlpool on the property. An outside pool, outdoor kiddie pool, indoor pool and whirlpool. The pools were great. The water in the outdoor pool was a little cool but not terrible. There were also plenty of lounges. If you wanted you could also order food and drinks at the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was wonderful too. The water was nice and warm and there were lounges and chairs there too. There were rooms around the indoor pool but I would advise against getting one of those rooms as it could be quite noisy. There was also a sauna and a gym which looked brand new and were spotless.
There are 2 restaurants and a lounge on the property. Garfields, Arthur's and the Encore Lounge. We had breakfast in Arthur's one morning and the food was very good. We also went down to the lounge a couple of times and that was very nice also. We never ate at Garfield's so I can't comment about that place.
The property itself is kept beautiful. The landscaping is done very nicely with lots of flowers and plants all around.
Also, if you forgot to bring toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors or shaving cream the front desk provided them free of charge.
I would definitely stay at the Eden Resort again and highly recommend it. If you have any questions about the resort, please feel free to contact me at pozzy@ix.netcom.com and I would be happy to answer any questions.

We arrived at the BW Eden Resort at 1:00pm and were told that our room was not ready yet. Hey, it happens, check in is at 3:00 anyhow. At 3:00 on the dot, we were given the key to room 558. It was a studio with 2 double beds, a fold out sofa and a kitchen. The first thing I noticed was a hint of a musty smell. It did not take long to find the source of the odor. As I stepped in front of the closet to put my clothes in, I stepped firmly into a puddle on the floor. I called the front desk They said that the maintenance man would come by and take a look. I called again an hour later and was told that a supervisor would get back to us. After wasting 2 hours of our vacation, we went to the lobby and a nice young lady by the name of Heather was extremely helpful in getting us another room. We moved to room 555, which had a few ants in the kitchen. As you can see, day one at the BW Eden had its problems. The maintenance man came, he sprayed and our problem was solved.

Even though the first paragraph reads as the beginnings of a horror story, the remainder of our stay was quite nice. The housekeeping staff is very in tune to your needs. They were fantastic. The hotel is spotless. The indoor pool was fabulous and not to hot, not to cold. The gym is state of the art and the sauna seems to be brand new. The out door pool is crystal clear. The constant problem with SOME of the rooms is that they are 10 yards from Route 30. This is not the fault of the hotel. I believe that BW reinforced the doors when the road was built because when the door is closed, the sound of the trucks whizzing by is not all that terrible. Upon check out, I re-hashed my story of day #1 and the Front Desk did make some restitution. Would I stay in the BW Eden Resort again? ABSOLUTELY! Once day one was done, the rest of the week was great.

We usually stay at the Country Inn across from Dutch Wonderland but wanted something more "resorty" since we were staying for a few days. This hotel was great. I guess if you get a room near the highway, it could be noisy, but ours was about 100 feet from the highway and we couldn't hear a thing. We had a suite in the residential style units. Room was large enough for 2 adults, 2 children. Pools were great. The only complaint was that the water was very cold in both pools as if they hadn't turned the heaters on. Also, alot of people from other hotels come to these pools because they are so nice and they can get crowded. If the hotel can cure that and turn up the heat, all of my hotel wishes would be granted. Close enough yet far enough from the bustle of Lincoln Highway. Easy to get to the attractions. Take your family here, you won't be disappointed. Good morning breakfast buffet and a Sheetz right on the grounds! What convenience! Beds were fine, sofa bed was fine. If I could muster a complaint about the rooms.....uh...... the lighting could have been better.
